Top notch in area always clean rooms, a decent breakfast and a friendly staff with plenty of room to park.
What I especially like is they have plenty of room to park boats and Rv’S
Highly accommodating for all.

Excellent location. The hotel is dated in some areas. There is a lack of upkeep that is visible. The fire panel is still beeping at the front door. Famous Subs is a short walk away. Walgreens is also super close. Bambini’s and a bar are in the parking lot. The hot tub is out of service. The water pressure in the showers is great. The hotel is kept pretty clean. The front desk staff is excellent. The breakfast options are lacking.

We’ve requested to change our room three times.
The 1st time, we’ve got a dirty room which it was not acceptable. The 2nd room had blood stain in the wall and mold in the bedroom and in the bathroom. Really bad. Finally, the third room wasn’t the greatest, but at that point we just gave up and took it.
On the other hand, the breakfast didn’t have enough supply/restock for the current demand. Certainly, we won’t stay there anymore.

Great value for price... only about a 30 minute drive or so to Wilmington. Very clean and quiet. Initially there were some complications when I was trying to print while using their computer but Shay at the front desk went above and beyond to help me out. Much appreciated! Great customer service... I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

Very happy with this Wingate. Staff is good and the facilities are taken care of . We had an issue with a malfunctioning door lock which was addressed promptly and manager upgraded us to a better room for our 3 day stay. Will definitely stay here again.!

Crystal at the front desk was so helpful. Always a smile and helped make my birthday weekend the best.
Rooms were clean. AC worked. Couldn’t ask for better.

Very friendly staff. Nice hotel. Would definitely stay again. The beds were to hard for me. Breakfast could have been alittle better. But still over all a great stay.

Friendly staff, more than welcome to help you with whatever they can, rooms are very nice, a little pricey, but it's at the beach what else would ya expect, but here was cheaper than surrounding hotels. Rooms are also very clean.

I am working in the area for three months. The quiet atmosphere and considerate staff here make it comfortable and pleasant. The location is close to my work and convenient for weekend exploration and pleasure.

Staff was very friendly right when we walked in and acknowledged us with a smile. Never felt like we were a disturbance to them. Our room (408) was very clean. No issues with bugs or water like others were saying. Very happy with our visit and will return in the future!

We stayed here for over a month due to housing situations and the hotel employees we're wonderful. Housekeeping did a great job with being short handed and the front desk employees made us feel welcome and at home. No matter the request they were there for us trying to accommodate us as best as they could. Thanks guys for everything!!!! In the future we will stay again just hopefully under different circumstances lol.

We chose this hotel because it is located close to downtown Southport. NC.

Very comfy beds and pillows, decent size rooms. The staff are very polite, friendly, and helpful. Loved the pool and hot tub. Wingate is normally one of my first picks for hotel choice.

We had a wonderful time while we stayed there the room was always clean there was plenty of towels the service was wonderful

The hotel was very clean inside and out! The staff was very polite and knowledgeable of the local area. Only 4 mins. from the ocean, Coffee and great food. I don't know how anyone could do any better as far as price, location, and service! I will definitely be back

Very Nice , Clean & Friendly . The breakfast wasn't all that good though. Orange Juice was spoiled and all other juices were not cold. Eggs & Sausage links were dry. Over all, I'd stay here again....I'd just eat waffle house .Lol. Ohhhhh
The items in the "Sundry" room were really affordable!

Only 5 minutes from the ferry. There are 2 Italian restaurants in the parking lot and a bar within walking distance.

Service here is wonderful... I've stayed in this hotel for 4 months while working nights the staff made sure I was able to sleep fine during the day and helped find time to still clean the room occasionally. Pool are is clean but there are broken chairs but who cares the beach is minutes away! Like I said great staff recommend for any to stay here! !!

We were so please with our stay! it was such a beautiful hotel. traveling with a toddler can be very tricky but to know we’re going to stay at a place that felt clean and fresh is very comforting. we’ll definitely be back!
