VCA Peachtree Animal Hospital

VCA Peachtree took care of our dog for over 15 years, including up to the time of her passing. We utilized their veterinary as well as boarding services. The staff providing both services was friendly, skilled, and supportive. Especially during our dog's last years, we appreciated the doctors' recommendations, care, and empathy. I highly recommend this clinic!

I’m not sure how this VCA has any low ratings at all, but my wife Christine and I would give it 6-stars if we could! We have two dogs and have recently been here at least 6 times just in the past few months due to various checkups and emergencies. All of our visits have been nothing but pleasant and personable as every member of the staff, as well as the doctors, are courteous, thorough, and genuinely care about our furry family members! I would like to say thank you to Dr. Gracia, Dr. Thorndyke, Dr. Daugherty, and also to the wonderful staff, April, Brianne, Tori, and Julie for always taking care of Zeus and Howie. We drive 15 min farther than our previous vet just to see this office, as we feel so welcomed on every visit! We really appreciate their service and we highly recommend this VCA for your fur babies!

On Saturday, July 16, I needed a same day vet appointment for my dog who was displaying weird symptoms. Dr. Wolf and her team were phenomenal. She explained everything she was very kind and was very sweet to my dog. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and calming when I was extremely stressed about the health of my dog. They’ve even called to check on him the past couple days. What a wonderful practice. They will be my vet going forward. I can’t think them enough or say enough great things about them.

If you have a pet you should go here. They have the most kindest, caring staff. Really top notch. 5 stars is not enough!

Great veterinary clinic. Dr. Garcia is amazing. The staff is caring and always happy to see my kids! This is an exceptional practice that actually cares about pets and their parents! I used to go Brookhaven Animal Hospital. Unfortunately, my baby, Sydney, died because of their negligence. She was 13 years and 3 months. I left a review with that horrible office. I highly recommend VCA. They actually care about patients and pet parents. Outstanding!

Dr. Angela Ford-Amann has been taking care of Einar since he was just a wee pup. VCA Chamblee/Brookhaven and staff are very sweet, caring and observant. My highest recommendation and gratitude.

Very good and excellent place to take your fur babies. I really loved Dr.Gracia by the way she speaks Spanish which is awesome if your a Spanish speaker she can definitely explain very well to you in both languages both English and Spanish. Léelo definitely be coming here again. I don’t know how to feel about the 2 girls that are in the front desk but there okay I guess. But overall a very good place you might need to wait a few minutes but definitely worth it.

I have a highly sensitive and anxious golden doodle (Leo) who cannot tolerate grooming. His anxiety causes him to have seizures and needs to be sedated in order to be groomed. His hair gets matted due to its curly nature and causes great discomfort. Sedation must be done by a veterinarian.

I am so grateful I found you guys!! The doctor and staff are very thorough and cautious. They really treat pets like people. I got an appointment right away and was treated with kindness and compassion. I didn’t have to wait all day to pick my baby up! They made sure he was comfortable and didn’t have to wait in a kennel and go through unnecessary anxiety.

I had to have a dog of mine euthanized today and even though she was a recent addition to my life we had developed a strong bond and it was a very difficult thing to have to do, but the professionalism and the empathy of the staff helped tremendously. They are all amazing human beings, especially Dr. Wolfe. She made sure that I had as much time as needed to stay goodbye and made sure that my dog was completely comfortable in every way! Thank you all so much for your amazing attitudes and professionalism!

Dr. Thorndyke is one of the best vets I've ever visited. She was super communicative and answered any/all concerns I had. Although my cat ended up passing, she was incredibly helpful and I will be taking all my future pets here!

Dr Gracia and Brandon are both phenomenal. They answered all my questions regarding the care of my new puppy, Casper. I felt confident in the care and knowledge of the team here at the VCA Peachtree Animal Hospital. I am glad that the Chamblee loaction was using their operations for renovations or else I never would have met this stellar team! I'll be back for sure.

This location is TOP NOTCH! I've had pets my entire life and have NEVER experienced anything so wonderful as I did two nights ago with a vet. We realized our lab pup's inner ear was really red so I called and, even though it was 15 minutes before closing time, I was invited to bring him on in to be seen. This made the drive over remarkably unstressful and calm.
Lilly and Sabrina welcomed us in with a smile and ideal professionalism , which helped make things even more calming.
Out came Laura Holmes (the rock star manager!) and Travese (the sweetest vet assistant), who our pup went right up to for some hugs. Their excitement to see him and their reassurance that he was going to be okay right away was so comforting to us both.

In came Dr Michelle Wolf to the exam room and that big smile and warm demeanor continued to ease any worry right away! She and Travese are such a great clinical duo. Their professionalism, expertise and bedside manner with me and my pup cannot be any better! I had so many questions and each one was given attentiveness and care. My pup loved being there, even in pain and discomfort because of the way they they specifically and profoundly care and how they handled everything . Dr Wolf reached out the next morning to check in and continued to be responsive, thoughtful and insightful. She's a really smart and special doctor, who brings out the positives and communicates in terms that are palpable/helpful short and long term. She really cares. She and Travese make the actual exam flow seamlessly and had a great respect for not just us but each other.
Somehow this team of people made what could have been a scary and stressful situation, especially because it was closing time, enjoyable. They put me and my pup at ease from the very beginning , when I called in.
This location is not the closest to where we live but it's worth the extra drive for every reason you can imagine mattering.
The team's synergy is heartfelt, authentic and kind. So refreshing!

I've taken my pet here for a few years now and the doctors are always so friendly. Dr. Daugherty and Dr. Thorndyke are both wonderful and always helpful. I have never encountered any issues here.

They have a Care Club membership that allows you to pay a monthly fee instead of per visit. You get unlimited vet visits and some vaccines and tests included. They also have meds for your pet here but the prices are higher than elsewhere. Overall I am happy with the care they have given my pet.

I had just moved to the Atlanta area when I boarded my dog, Sadie, here. Of course I was nervous at first, but the staff was genuinely very kind and attentive to me and Sadie! When I picked her up after a few days, they sent us home with a cute goody bag with samples and a couple toys. I completely trust the staff here and can't thank Julie and Apryl enough for taking such good care of Sadie! We will definitely come back.

The staff at VCA Peachtree is amazing! My dogs and cats have all seen Dr Ford, Dr Daugherty and Dr Gracia. All are wonderful! Dr Ford performed an emergency surgery on one of my chickens today. She took excellent care of Buffalo and was sure to answer all my questions as always. The hospital is always extremely clean--it never even smells like an animal hospital. Highly recommend this location and staff!

We've been seeing Dr. Boyd at Peachtree Animal Hospital for roughly 3 months now. We originally went in with our cat who was having some significant urinary tract problems. Dr. Boyd made us feel at ease after we had a terrible experience with a different local vet office that resulted in our poor baby getting sick yet again! We then adopted a puppy and Dr. Boyd has helped us stay up to date on his vaccinations and answered so many questions for these first-time puppy owners. We're lucky to have her so close to home! And the rest of the staff is just so sweet, our dog LOVES going to the vet :)

My 15 yr old darling doggie was in her final wks when my current vet shocked me & referred me to another company for euthanasia. Since I used VCA Peachtree before my move, I contacted them & they quickly took us in. I was amazed at how efficiently & respectfully I was treated during this painful process. Dr Thorndyke handled my dog gently & professional manner & explained things while putting me at ease. Apryl assisted & she made me comfortable while caring for my baby dog until she quietly passed.
As a sweet gesture, VCA sent me handwritten sympathy card & notes! Thank you VCA Team for your kindness and care ❤ 🙏 💙

This is a nice animal hospital. The lady doctors and nurses were so sweet to our Cocoa-Bailey. They remember his name when he comes in and the doctor called to check on him a few times when he was very sick. They are gentle and thoughtful.

I don't care for the pet club very much because it's overpriced and its not all inclusive. It does not cover much beyond exams, a couple of fecal tests and some vaccinations.

Nonetheless, from the receptionists to the doctors, the customer service is great and they really care about our fur baby :-)

My dog is 10 and she needed to have her teeth cleaned. These guys did a great job and my dog was well treated while she was there. They called me after I got her home to check on her and scheduled a follow up appointment for 30 days later. I would highly recommended this vet for your pet!

We took our adopted cat for her checkup and were greeted promptly when we walked in. We had an appt and didn't have to wait long at all. Our sweet cat had a dry cough that concerned us. Dr. Boyd explained our options in terms we could understand. They are all very professional. We opted for the xray and I'm glad we did as they found pneumonia and bronchitis. They are reasonable compared to some other Vet Hospitals we've used. They will work with you in financial matters. Great experience.
