Blackburn Park

Blackburn Park is in Brookhaven, GA, a suburb of Metro Atlanta. This is a great place for both people and dog walking! The walk around the park is roughly 1.4 miles. There is plenty of parking. In addition to large fields for playing and relaxing, the park also contains multiple playgrounds, soccer fields, softball fields, tennis courts and a large pavilion. There are usually a number of people here, but they are largely clustered around the various game fields. This leaves plenty of room on the park trails!

Very good place for morning walk, kids play, dogs 🐕 walk.

I love being here as this place is fun. We went there a number of times for picnic walk qnd for kids playing. There are sheds available too. It is perfect

My company was looking for a place to host our Spring employee picnic this past weekend. This park was beautiful! We were able to set up a canopy and several outdoor games without disturbing anyone else around us. We appreciated the ample parking. There were several garbage cans conveniently placed near the trails and parking lot, and the restrooms were clean.

I took my granddaughters to this park and we had a really good time. The swings were different and large enough to fit 4 kids at once. After playing on the equipment, they were able to rollerskate around the park because of the ample and smooth concrete paths. The slides were different and very cool as well as all of the other equipment. They got plenty of exercise and were worn out by the time we left. We will definitely return again soon.

Nice and peaceful walking trail.

I come here for the tennis courts, and they’re always very well taken care of! The facility looking out over them has a nice little shop where you can get sports drinks/water, racquets, grips, and more essentials. They also often have various tennis leagues playing here so the sense of community is nice.

Spring brings the cherry blossom trees in the park into full bloom! The park has soccer fields, tennis courts and a windy trail going across the entire park. The elevation difference on the slopes in the park is also steep and useful for hill sprints.

Very nice huge park around the city. Kids playground is the best and has good stuff. I was able to take kids on bike trail which was amazing, nice paved. Lot of open area and lot of benches to sit around.

I enjoyed this park. I’m glad to have a chance to witness a new and updated park with cherry blossoms and is big enough for an event that in my opinion was a excellent use of the space of the park. I just gotta say that I’d would’ve enjoyed myself even more during the festival but because the weather took an unexpected (yet no one was surprised) drop in temperature compared to the previous day I wasn’t able to stay very long.

This is one of the larger parks in the city of Brookhaven. This park has a lot to offer: A baseball Diamond, bathrooms, a community garden, a huge green space- perfect for running, a mixed-use field, a large parking lot, paths that take you through the whole park, a picnic shelter, a playground, tennis courts, and a trail. This is also the location of the Cherry Blossom festival every March.

Great place for a multi day music festival and fair. Wondeful park.

Great place to soak in a peaceful moment while still in the city. Family oriented park with a children playground and areas for picnicking and/or exercising. Well maintained.

Found the Young Girl's Statue of Peace, moved here in 2018 from Blackburn II Park. Beautiful landscaping and easy access from the Ashford Dunwoody parking lot. Thoughtful setting to reflect on human rights. Large park with walking trail in the woods and sports fields. Saw no less than 5 couples and families taking outdoor photo portraits against the natural backdrop.

Things for the kids to do at the park as well as bring your own activities.

It has a pretty cool tennis court section. A little library some awesome books.. plus a nice clean rest room near the playground. and I almost forgot to mention how easy parking is. And there's a lot of it plus the track that goes around. And if I'm not mistaken, there's some soccer fields. On the other side, this is a really cool park and has everything. Alot of people with dogs..

Best park near Dunwoody, North Brookhaven area for a good workout, run, any fun sports. There's a big grilling, picnic shaded area on the north side. My wife and I come here regularly for workouts. Gets crowded towards sunset. But there are multiple spots on the south side to relax and rejuvenate.

Wonderful place to walk, run, jog, play with dogs, picnic, play tennis, etc. there’s about three different long pathways you can traverse through nature. It’s nice, there’s one of a few statue for peace monuments in the world at this park. Beautiful scenery.

Nice park, good walking trails, cherry trees are in bloom now (mid-March). There is also a memorial for the Korean "comfort ladies" that is quite moving.
