The PawStand

I brought my 11 month Rottweiler puppy here for hydrotherapy rehab/laser therapy with Dr.J in hopes of helping, if not curing her bilateral hip and knee dysplasia without having to take the surgical route. I call Dr. J my dogs Fairy Godmother with her Magic Water. The progress and strength my pup gained within a couple of months working with Dr. J in the pool was unbelievable. It’s been almost 10 months of sessions and her hips no longer pop when she walks. She is running and jumping more without signs of discomfort and her stride looks incredible. Dr. J has been so passionate, patient, and kind with my baby as well as very patient and informative with me! My pup loves our rehab days and runs to the door when I ask her if she wants to go see Dr. J! Their shop also has the best all natural goodies for your furry loved ones. Donna in the front is very friendly and helpful! 10/10 recommend The Paw Stand!

This is a great place to buy any of your pet’s needs! Ms. Donna is super friendly and ALWAYS provides superb customer service. Stop by and support this great business… if you are lucky… you may even meet “PJ” … Donna’s furry friend… He is adorable!!!

Absolutely love how wonderful The Pawstand's people and shop dog are! They kindly (and VERY) patiently assessed and advised the best fitting sweater and harness for the princess I am taking care of for her humans. Since my little friend is embarking on a wellness journey while staying with me to help live her best life, she needs a cozy sweater for these chilly days and a comfortable harness for walks. Highly recommend bringing your pup(s) here ❤

P.S. I've brought my own pup here before for a self-spa day - very lovely non-claustrophobic place with lovely cleansers to wash your canine family members with. 🐾

12/19/2022 update: brought my own pup to find a jacket to keep her cozy during these chillier days. As usual, everyone was very helpful, including the lovely shop pup PJ! My pup quite enjoyed wearing her new jacket during her naps tonight

Great place! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Our 2 dogs needed a bath so bad. We had our own room to wash them and everything is provided. Good value in my book. We will be back!

For dog treat I recommend vital essential duck nib my dog loved them

My vet recommended Dr J at the PawStand for some issues our dog was having putting weight on his back legs. After only a few treatments I could tell a major difference in not only our dogs physical wellness, but also with his personality. A spunkiness he had lost returned because he felt better as the therapy continued to work. Dr J is amazing. The therapy is fantastic and she knows her stuff. We now also shop the PawStand for our dog’s food and treats. Super impressed with the facility, their services, knowledge, and welcoming style. I highly recommend the PawStand and can’t thank them enough.

This is an incredibly lovely store and a Doraville landmark for my dogs and I. They have an incredible selection of variety for both dogs and cats. The owners are very helpful and offer good advice.

This is a beautiful space with very nice DIY/self bathing rooms. The rooms are stocked with many types of shampoo and conditioner. PawStand provides everything you need to wash and dry your dog. Dr. J was very helpful and showed me the equipment and reviewed the house rules with me. They also have a full pet rehab facility in the back and a store fully stocked with all the nicest pet products. Thank you PawStand! I will be back!

Co-owner Jennifer was very nice and helpful. It’s my dog’s birthday and I went to her shop to find something special. She had some birthday treats for my boy and he enjoyed them. I will go back for food and treats in the future.

Fantastic and knowledgeable staff. My dog goes to therapy there with Dr. J. Her therapy has kept his back legs working in his old age. Clean store stocked full of the best food. Highly recommend!

Today I visited The PawStand to self bathe my fur baby. The place is awesome. Everything was organized and clean. I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Jennifer, one of the owners. She was pleasantly friendly! My fur baby liked her too (no bark-no growl). The bathing area is as pictured. They had all the supplies you will need (I brought a grocery bag of my fur baby's items), really no need to bring a thing. Do not let the nearby construction turn you off. Drive on in to rear of lot and enjoy the experience. I will be returning. Thank ya'll!!

I took my anxious dog for a bath in their spa. The spa rooms are ample and very well stocked with a variety of scented and unscented good quality shampoos, clean towels, q-tips, cotton rolls, combs and brushes. They even have aprons for you to wear to avoid your clothes from getting wet and dirty. The dryer is powerful enough on the lowest setting. My dog surprisingly loved the dryer!
The store is well stocked and organized, with a great vibe. They have high quality treats and food for our furry babies.
On top of all of that, they have great customer service!

Very friendly and helpful staff! They helped Mason into his new seatbelt harness to make sure it fit correctly. Fun conversations and great selection. Also big sale bon au the front door!

This is the best pet store ever. It's my dog's favorite place ever. The staff is so incredibly helpful. They have just about everything you can imagine in multiple varieties. The staff is extremely educated about animal care and their products. The owners of the store are not only passionate about pet care, but also the community. They are constantly sponsoring and participating in community events and service members. Small business, women owned, inclusive, competitive pricing, and passionate about enhancing the lives of pets, pet owners, and the community - they do it all and they do it well!

My golden and I have been coming here for around 3 years. Everyone who works here is so friendly and cares very deeply for the well being of my dog. Dr. J has helped my guy slim down from 103 to 61 pounds!! She is definitely a life saver. They host a party or event practically every month. And this local store is one of the few that can say an owner is in the store 99.9% of the time. Thank you Donna and Jennifer for giving Fannin so much love every time we are there.

My daughters and I brought a pup we are fostering for a good dog wash. When we arrived, the staff was very knowlegdable about dog behavior, always willing to help, and just overall amazing! The recommendation for which shampoo and conditioner to use was spot on! His coat, which was flaky and dry, is now soft and shiny. We highly recommend, and will definitely return!

The PawStand always has an excellent selection of food, treats, and other supplies. When my dog was switched to a raw diet for his epilepsy, they helped me build balanced meals that he still loves. My puppy was struggling with tummy issues and the vet foods were making the issue worse, and they recommended the Farmina digestion food, and it cleared up her severe tummy issues in under 48 hours. They also have a great self service wash, with blow dryers.

My favorite pet store I’ve been to! Staff is really friendly and inviting. They take note of what you purchase and will call when they get items back in stock. We love using the self wash station and all the options for shampoo/conditioner.

Pawstand is an amazing local business. We use the self wash station for dogs. The price is reasonable, and you get all the shampoo and conditioner that you need. The wash area is well taken care of and the staff is super nicem usually the owner is in the store ready to help as well. We love this place.
