Cotton Row Bookstore

An absolutely wonderful bookstore. Mrs Virginia was so sweet and patient with our toddler, and had some great recommendations for books. The store feels really down home, but had a great selection of new and classic titles. Highly recommend.

Super cool experience. We met the elderly cat who clearly runs the bookstore. Excellent chat with the cat's assistant (store owner) who gave recommendations for books in her store and places to see and eat. Ask her what she recommends...books, local sights, eats, etc. Fabulous resource.

Visited here as a kid and it was just as lovely an experience as I remember. Original owner, bookstore cat, curated selection - bibliophile trifecta. Chain stores have their pros, but my goodness, you cannot get service like this at one of those. Looking forward to my next visit when I'm back in the Magnolia State.
