Barewood

We recently visited Barewood furniture to look for dining tables. We were very impressed with the showroom and the quality of the furniture. It was great to see all the furniture was solid wood and not full of veneers like many of the more traditional furniture stores. The prices were also fantastic and allowed for customizing the furniture with paint or stain to meet our needs.

We purchased a dining set with 8 chairs and a side table along with 4 counter height bar stools for less than the cost of one table in the other stores we visited.
The furniture was delivered and we could not be happier.

The employees were great and extremely helpful. They had a no pressure approach to sales, which was great to see. No one hovered over us or lingered behind. We ended up purchasing 8 dining room table chairs to go with the table I built. The chairs are perfect and comfortable. They arrived when promised as well. Would definitely purchase from them again.

Barewood fit my needs perfectly! I didn’t love any of the dining room sets I saw in the furniture stores or anywhere online. As soon as I walked into the store and saw the variety of styles they made I went to work designing my perfect dining room! Thank you!

Jennifer at Barewood did such a great job helping me pick the colors for my table. Her and her husband are so helpful and friendly. Very durable and sturdy furniture, definately worth the money.

Jennifer was very friendly and very helpful. They have a wide selection of chairs in the show room but they have hundreds more in the catalogs. She listened to what I was looking for and help me narrow things down. She also introduced me to the finishing company which was excellent. Jennifer makes you feel like you are number one when she’s working with you and I appreciate her attention to detail.

We are so happy we went with Barewood for our new kitchen table and console table! Jennifer was informative, patient as we made our decisions and communicated well. They want to be sure you get a product you love and will have for years to come!

We had a great experience with Barewood. We wanted a table for our living room that we could use for crafts, games and puzzles. Jen helped us customize our piece to match the room beautifully. We stained the table top wood and than painted the legs. Love it!!!

Great selection of real wood furniture at reasonable pricing. I love that they offer start to finish service as well as great customer service. I think the only suggestion or wish I have would be more modern/coastal stain color options. Can’t wait for our next purchase with BareWood.

Absolutely love this place! If I could give more stars I would. My family and I went in over the weekend to just look at their inventory for a dresser. While looking around the store they occupied my child with a game (finding hidden bananas), so I could take measurements and make a decision of what fit my needs. I ended up finding 2 dressers that would work perfectly for my needs that were discounted. I took one home same day and was able to pick the second one up a couple of days later. Customer service was outstanding, the products they have in inventory are amazing, and I will definitely be coming back for more. THANK YOU!!!

Update: personal service!!

I purchased a beautiful, factory finished solid wood buffet. Price could not be beat, even cheaper when comparing to other companies' similar offerings, where "solid wood" includes using engineered wood! I am happy, but originally gave 4 stars for this piece specifically only because the manufacturer made one door have a very tight closure. If I shaved it down it will ruin the paint finish, so rubbed wax on it to make it stick slightly less. The other 2 doors and 3 drawers work perfectly.

Nick made a personal visit to my home and made just the adjustment needed for it to be perfect!

Barewoods offers a large selection of furniture which is well made and customizable to your liking! You choose your finish and colors to best fit your decor. They are very knowledgeable about the products and finishes. We were able to order pieces and have them finished to fit the decor of our Condo.
Due to no fault of the owners, the chairs we ordered took a little longer to get in from the manufacturer. We are very pleased with how everything turned out and would highly recommend BareWoods!

We ordered this entertainment unit from Jennifer at Barewood. She was very knowledgeable, gave us options for the piece to be finished by them, or how to do it ourselves, helpful tricks to make it look professionally finished. I am very pleased with the quality and finish I was able to achieve. I have several more pieces to purchase and finish for the same room. We are repeat customers!!

The most unique furniture store! Very happy to have stopped in to this unsuspectingly awesome place. We’re searching for a tv console and have been to all of the big box furniture stores. At Barewood, we found that all of their pieces are solid wood and amazing quality. So neat how you can pick the color of hour furniture and even take it home bare and paint it yourself for a lower cost option. You can pick the type of wood used and completely customize your piece. They have beautiful pieces and for relatively the same price as the big box stores. The customer service was helpful and informative.

Hey friends. Another review today. Barewood furniture. So, let me explain. This is not your typical furniture store... They create pieces of artwork, it takes time. If you need something quick, it isn't happening... We bought a beautiful Kona - colored, dinning set. Butterfly table with 8 chairs. We bought the set at the end of May and picked it up mid August. It was expensive but it's going to last. Barewood companies make pieces to last. Typically, a dinning room table will last 7-10 years before it needs to be replaced. They need to ship and order the product, build it, stain it and let it cure some before you pick it up. Here's some photos, thank you Jen and Nick. We appreciate your hard work.

We have bought several pieces of furniture at Barewood. They can do custom orders to meet your needs and desires. The quality is top notch. It does take some time for custom pieces but it is well worth the wait.

I was in dire need of furniture for my new home. I wanted something that would fit into my new space and didn’t fall apart if I decided to rearrange. Which I have done several times now trying to find the layout I wanted. I started with a coffee table and side tables for the living room and quickly found that I had ordered my entire house from here within the year. I loved that I could match all my pieces together even though I didn’t buy them all together. Only complaint I have so far is that I’d kick myself if I ever downsized because I’d have to get rid of some really nice pieces.

Love this place! We purchased 3 bedroom sets, a dining room set, book shelves, coffee table and an amazing office desk. The quality is amazing and the service is even better. So great to see a family owned and run business that truly cares about quality and service. I’m never going to a big box store again!

Love the Whitewood furniture. High quality and easy to assemble if you don't have it assembled. This was my third purchase from Barewood. Great store with great prices as well
