Bay 1 Ice Cream & Sandwich Shop

Bay 1 is scooping the creamiest Amish ice cream in the area. They had plenty of flavor options including a few non-dairy ice cream choices that my wife raved about. Don’t waste your time with other ice cream shops in the area that boast at having over 100 mediocre options and have a line wrapped around the building. The staff at Bay 1 was very friendly and attentive each time we were there.

Great place for some ice cream and cuban sandwiches. Visited this little place 3 times this trip on vacation. They had a banana pudding ice cream that was the most delightful cold treat for a southern banana pudding lover. Toasted coconut didn't disappoint either

Stopped in for a Cuban and a sugar cone of Lucky Charms ice cream. Really friendly staff and really clean. Restroom was spotless and in excellent shape. Tables were all really clean. Service was fast and friendly. Will return if I am in the area.

Great staff, cute little shop. It was very crowded when we arrived at 9:35pm (closed at 10pm) so its obviously a quite popular place. I got the 9" Pressed Cuban Reuben Pulled Pork Sandwich for $9.99. It was a very generous portion, well worth the price and such a delicious, unique combination of flavors. My kids loved their ice cream. We ordered pickup through UberEats (see pics for other ordering options). So yummy!

This is a little dive, but they have delicious ice cream... and my favorite flavor, Superman Ice Cream! 🍦 They don't have my favorite Waffle Cone Bowls (like my other favorite local place, Kilwin's) and their Waffle Cones they do have don't taste homemade. But I still like to come by here from time to time and the staff are always really friendly & helpful!

Brought my family of 8 in for ice cream on a hot day, the team behind the counter were friendly, quick and very patient. We’ve been up and down this coast trying different food. Never once stopped at another ice cream place. No need. We knew what we wanted. Ended up coming back 3 more times. Same great service! Highly recommend!

For the best ice cream on the beach, this is one of our favorites for sure. Mark, the owner and staff are great and very accomodating. They also serve lunch, and I've heard that their Cuban is great, though I haven't tried it yet, but plan to.
We are a small business too and appreciate small, local shops and believe in supporting all the great beach businesses. We have many times recommended our customers visit Bay 1 Ice Cream after a boat trip or especially if they are renting a scooter. A great fun place to stop while tooling around the beach. Love this place. Never personally had food beyond ice cream here, but ice cream was certainly worth it. Best I've had in this area thus far, and my family and I have been coming this area for many years. Only slight negative is "slightly " expensive, but honestly everything is more pricey in today's world and this area of florida. Very enjoyable

Busy place! Great flavours to pick from. They really packed my cup full so that was nice. Good service and lots of parking. Great way to round up a day at the beach 🏖.

We go here once a week it's my weekly treat 🙂 a 2 scoop waffle cone with cookies and cream ice cream and sprinkles. Love it!!

The Cuban Reuben is delightful! I will have to go back and try their ice cream sometime.

Great service! My wife and I got the strawberry peach mango smoothie and both loved it. For those who love their protein they can add a scoop. They were very welcoming and helped us figure out very quickly what we wanted. Highly recommended!

My family and I were on vacation in Redington Shores and we heard about a cute little ice cream and sandwich shop that was right down the street called Bay1. As we walked in we were greeted by Dean, the owner, and his friendly staff. The kids had chocolate brownie, super hero, and chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. The wife and I split an authentic Cuban. Everything was spot on and delicious. Super quick and affordable. We will definitely be back. Thanks Bay 1 Ice cream for a memorable treat!

Customer service was amazing. The guy honestly deserves a raise (server name: Jackson) he was working and doing countless orders by himself. I got the Cuban sandwich and it is really good for the cheap price of $8. And also the ice cream is really good here too. Will definitely recommend to others and will come again when I visit the area.

Stopped here by chance and so glad we did. The Cuban sandwiches sign caught our attention. The customer service is excellent. We had Cuban sandwiches, empanadas and ice cream. Everything was delicious. They have a variety of ice cream flavors to choose from. The woman that helped us was the best part. She was so nice and helpful, very welcoming. I will definitely return next time I am in this area. Highly recommend!

The sandwiches are very good. We tried the classic Cuban and the Cuban Ruben (this was our fave). The beef and cheese empanadas were amazing! The prices for the “kid food” were great (pb&j and a hot dog) without sacrificing quality. We went back for ice cream and it was tasty!

Stopped in with family while on vacation in the area. The two women behind the counter were SUPER NICE and happy to hand out samples and answer any questions. I’m not usually much of an ice cream person but this place was so good; I ate an entire waffle cone of blueberry cheesecake!
