This entire group is really amazing! There's not a single person I've met with who wasn't incredibly friendly and helpful. Dr. Wen is by a good margin the best veterinarian we've had for our pets. The knowledge she has, and the diligence she takes to provide the highest level of care for your pet, is absolutely amazing. The compassion they've shown to our family during the hardest times as a pet owner means a lot to us. My son was very upset that we had to put our cat down, and was convinced we could do something else to help him. Dr. Wen took the time to explain why that wasn't possible and why doing so was the best decision for Obi. He understood at that point and accepted that we were doing the right thing. You can't understate the importance this has for a parent trying to comfort a child through the loss of their pet. All the best to you all and your amazing staff. :)

Vernon Woods has taken care of 2 beloved Golden Retrievers. \
The staff = cheery and helpful. I will say that if you want recommendations in a decision ASK. We are now happily taking our 3rd dog to VW -- a rescue mixed Golden etc, She used to tremble terribly when in exam room. Not so anymore.

Everyone went out of their way to make sure Celli Mae Mae was well taken care of - up to and including SPOILING him!! This is why I entrust the care of my pets to VWAH. From front desk (Tristan, Lynn and everyone), to boarding (love Abby) and Dr. Wen - you cannot go wrong coming here. 5 out of 5 paws!

We live close enough that we walk to get groomed. My dog knows the way and shows no fear or worry on the walk their or upon entering. To me that is really important. He happily greets all the staff. Plus he gets a good grooming at a fair price. We're both happy.

We brought our newly-adopted pup to Vernon Woods for her first checkup based on a neighbor's recommendation. We were able to get an appointment quickly. I appreciated that they scheduled an hour appointment since it was our first visit. We met with Dr. Renfroe and had Michael as a vet tech. They both were warm and informative (and appropriately gushing about our new family member!). They also use an app to manage care, reminders and follow-ups. I'm new to the system so don't know much about it, but it appears that it will be helpful to know when we need to get vaccines renewed, etc. While we hope to not be frequent visitors to the vet, we feel like we are in good hands with Vernon Woods thus far!

I bought my cat here for conjunctivitis a few months ago, and the staff was amazing. The doctor took her time with the exam and answered all of my questions without any hesitation. She was very detailed and made sure I understood how to give my baby her medicine.
I also went back a few weeks ago for a grooming. The groomer came out & explained to me everything she would be doing for my cat and asked if there was anything in particular that I wanted done. I really appreciated her checking with me to make sure both me & my cat were comfortable. I will always bring my cat here for all of her needs.

Vernon Woods provide consistently excellent service. Even with a very anxious dog, they find a way to comfort (as much as possible) so that it's overall a positive experience.

I had such a great experience. They worked within my budget and addressed immediate and long term needs for my little husky mix. I didn’t have to wait to get an appointment and I didn’t have to sit in an office for an hour to meet the vet or technician like I’ve had to do at other vet offices. They’re so clean, friendly, and have a great dog kennel also. My dog loved the staff and they were so patient with her.

The most caring and welcoming experience at a vet. Only wish I had found them years ago. But nevertheless, they are now my forever vet. Highly recommend!

The front desk staff and vet techs are so friendly and helpful. And Dr. Lee is very sweet and always takes good care of my cats!

Dr. Wen is the best with her compassion and knowledge. The staff has been great too. I feel my working dogs have great care at Vernon Woods.

Very happy with service & experience - with my cavalier’s grooming. I had to have someone else drop my dog off & the groomer was kind enough to chat by phone about my requests. I loved that she emphasized to just let her know if I had any feedback after his groom. It was clear she understands value of building relationships with clients & pups. They also understand breed-specific grooming standards. Booking online was convenient, prices are competitive & nice that grooming is at vet. Makes me confident my dog is well taken care of on all fronts. My vet actually uses them as her groomer & had recommended. New to the city & have found our groomer!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this vet office and their staff. They were extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. Dr. Wen actually listened and took all the time we needed to answer questions and think through different situations. The front staff were very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, our dog did not make it but we never felt rushed or pressured to make one decision or another. It was a very difficult situation made a bit easier by all the people who helped us at VWAH.

I love Vernon Woods, my dog loves Vernon Woods. She gets excited when we pull into the parking lot. The BEST.

Everyone is very helpful and friendly at VWAH and always treat my dog Ava so well. She used to be a little scared to go in when I first took her there as a puppy but now she runs right in and jumps on the scale, happy to be getting all the attention!

Dr. Lee did a surgery on my older dog. From our first time meeting her, I was immediately at ease with her doing the procedure. Dr. Lee and the whole office staff, particularly her assistant Kimberly, were very kind and they fit me in so quickly. I can tell my dog immediately feels so much better!

Delphi and Rodolfo highly recommend Dr. Jones. He is very caring, knowledgeable and informative. We especially like the fact that
he explains conditions and procedures to us with medical terminology.
Dr. Jones knows our personalities - our likes and dislikes during the
exam. We are appreciative of that. It makes our visits feel like seeing
a good friend; not scary, or something we dread. He also takes his time
with us. In an era where there is very little follow up, Dr. Jones calls us
to apprise us of test results and check on our well being. He was
especially nice when our sister Gilda was diagnosed with cancer.
Although she won the battle for two years, she is no longer with us.
Dr. Jones eased our pain and still remembers her when we see him.
In short, we are thankful to have him in our lives.

I have taken my pets to Vernon Woods Animal Hospital since 2003. I am currently using Dr. Wen take care of my cats. She is a caring professional veterinarian who treats my cats with understanding and kindness.

I used Vernon Woods as my vet office for the 2 years I lived in Atlanta. They are honestly the best vet I have ever had in the last 12 years. Our primary vet was Dr. Fisher and she was amazing. On the couple of occasions that we had to visit one of the other doctors they were fantastic as well. I love that Dr. Fisher always outlined all of my options for medical care, cost estimates, and her recommendations without pressuring a decision one way or the other. I've had a couple of health scares with my pups are every time I felt I could fully trust Dr. Fisher to get to the bottom and give me all of my options. The front desk staff is also wonderful - always cheery, smiling, and ready to help. I wish I could have taken this whole office with me when I moved, and can only hope I find another vet as wonderful and trustworthy as Vernon Woods.

We've been trusting Vernon Woods for about a year now with our first fur baby. We are always so happy with the care we receive! They are quick to answer calls and work to fit us in for appointments, even when last-minute. I love their staff and vet techs. We see Dr. Miriam Renfroe who is so sweet. She is happy to answer any and all questions we may have about our dog's symptoms and overall health. We hope to stay with Vernon Woods for years to come!
