You wouldn't think it by looking at the place, but they have INCREDIBLE hot pressed Cuban sandwiches! They are also real cheap too. They press the sandwiches for you on the spot and use great premium meats and cheeses too. If you're ever in Safety Harbor and want to grab a quick to-go sandwich...this is the place! You might get confused a little when you first walk in, but when you enter the store, the food counter is to the right of the cashier's counter. This place also has THE best convenience store beer prices in Safety Harbor.

The BEST Cuban Sandwich & Philly Cheese Steak around. The staff is very friendly & owner is great & a very hard worker. A large Cuban (with free drink) is only $5. I get Cuban platter for my work or parties for only $25 & always a huge hit. They are open late & have my order ready in 10 minutes. One of my fav spots in the harbor. A must try!

Absolutely the best cuban sandwich I've ever had! I have lived away from Safety Harbor for 5 years now and if I can think of a way for the owners (Hi, Eddie!!) to send us a cuban through the mail, I'd jump on it! If you're near Safety Harbor, it's so worth it to stop in and get a sandwich!

Did not want to cook today. Went and got a steak , onion, pepper and cheese sub with onion rings. Was so good. Enough for 2. And got some ice cream for dessert 😀

This place has the best Cuban sandwich you can ever eat in your life. I am addicted to it to the point I have to drive all the way from Trinity to safety harbor. I wonder sometimes why this guy doesn't have more than one location.

Great Hidden Gem!!! I am afraid of most convenient store food because it is Very low quality, but this is not! They use the same local bread that I buy for my own family. They use Boar's Head Meat & Cheeses, which are known for their quality. Not to mention, with their hot sandwiches they press them with this amazing garlic butter, that transforms the sandwich from a good sandwich to an Amazing Sandwich! Do be afraid of the appearance! AMAZING THINGS LAY WITHIN!

Been eating these Cubans for 15 years. Breakfast sandwiches are 🔥. Love Shelly's deli. Same owners my whole life . Boars head meats and cheeses . SH gem.

Used to come here like everyday for their cubans when I lived down the road. Their cubans are to die for! Best I've ever had! Miss living in Safety Harbor for that reason. Very friendly staff, especially the owner!

This is a Safety Harbor treasure! Pro tip....stop in for an awesome Cuban sandwich for breakfast, take a short ride down to Philippe Park and enjoy at one of the waterfront picnic spots. Doesn’t get much better!

Best cuban in the area. I've taken friends who don't typically like cuban sandwiches and they love it. Not sure what makes it so special it just is.
