Derrick is the Best…extremely knowledgeable and very accurate with excellent technique and diagnostics. Have been going to his practice for 20 years and even though it’s an hour drive one-way from my home, he’s solid gold and his staff is top shelf amazing.

For someone who is HIGHLY anxiety ridden when going to anything resembling a dentist- Dr Carter, Ashley and Tammy have been very patient with me and successfully worked through a treatment plan step by step! Highly recommend

The man is genius. He sculpted my crooked bottom teeth today to the point you don’t notice them. Then did the other portion of my instrument cleaning on right side of my mouth. Other side cleaned in October. I don’t have dental insurance so he gave me a Cash Discount. He’s remarkable!

Amazing experience. Was a new patient was seen on time. Very clean office, Tammy the nurse was super sweet. As well as all the staff I met. Dr Carter was extremely nice and gentle. I now have a new dentist and will recommend him to everyone.

Recently had several crowns put in and am super happy with the results. Dr. Carter and staff are pleasant, considerate, and talk to you...not "at" you, and you are given options if you are watching your budget. I was anxious about seeing a new dentist that I didn't really know much about, but they made the experience much
better than I was honestly expecting.

Amazing. I wanted a 2nd opinion because another dentist said I needed six crowns totaling thousands of dollars out-of-pocket.
Dr. Carter examined me and reviewed my x-rays, providing a complimentary 2nd opinion. All he found were two very small cavities and said he would NOT crown any of my teeth!! I highly recommend Dr. Carter and his staff!

I chose to proceed by having Dr. Carter fill the two small cavities and was scheduled in a very timely manner.

The appointments were made very easily by Ashley. The work was performed by the Dr. while Tammy assisted. It was overall an outstanding experience.

I have struggled with my teeth and have been to many dentist over the years... Dr Carter is by far the best! I had major dental surgery for dentures and Dr Carter and his team made the experience as painless and easy as possible. After 15 years I finally have a smile that I Love! Took my children to Dr. Carter. My son liked him over the other dentist he had previously seen in Jacksonville. This was also my daughters first ever dentist appointment. (she is almost 6) The staff was super friendly and made her feel comfortable. They truly made her first experience a good one.

I just love the feel of walking into a family oriented business. It's like coming home. They always make you feel welcome. And they remember the silliest details. Thanks for being a great dental practice ya'll!!

Absolutely perfect Dentist. I trusted him to work on my children, perfect job. Little one was not scared a bit to go back. I went there today perfect again. And he had a student observe so he is passing on knowledge and professionalism to the next generation. Dr. Carter is a wonderful asset to Baker County.

If you have a fear of dental work, this is THE place for you! If you don't want to pay prices that well exceed the actual procedures you are having, this is THE place for you. Dr. Carter is a down to earth guy who is very good at what he does. I absolutely HATE needles. LOATHE entirely (in my grinch voice) ...I fret over it and will do just about anything to avoid it. Dr. Carter can get you numb and you 100% dont even know it happened. Seriously, he may be a magician. The hygienist Holley is incredible! She talks you through her process and has great advice and tricks about how to keep your teeth in the best health. Ashley at the front desk is sweet and does her best to make sure you know up front exactly what you will owe when you schedule your appointment. Everyone in this office does their very best to set your mind at ease and make you comfortable. I’ve never had a dentist talk to me & that means everything to me , Dr Carter & the staff make me feel like a person & not a dollar. I just wish I would have found them so much earlier. I just had a tooth pulled & the upper shoot did not hurt & the best thing is Dr Carter talks to you the whole time WOW, thank you lord
