It’s not often you find employees/owners that truly care about the customers and food being served. Top notch service aside the food was great. Napa sandwich, Greek wrap, tomato soup, vegan delight, mushroom soup were all must try items🌟 Under 10 bucks per person counting tip with this quality food and service is rare💎and hope to have the privilege to eat here again.

Wonderful find!! We're on a road trip from Atlanta to NY and we're vegan. We saw the food at next exit sign with a bright green logo for Greens & Grains and quickly made the exit. SO GLAD we did! Ordered 2 of the Vegan Delight wraps and some assorted vegan cookies. DELICIOUS!! Cute place in a college town. JMU was just across the interstate! Very cool! I wish this place was in Georgia! If I come through here again I will absolutely stop for more food!

Wow! Terrific gem of a cafe just off the expressway with parking. The food was locally sourced with amazing freshness and flavor. Husband had roast beef sandwich on multigrain bread. I enjoyed a warm quinoa bowl with avocado and basil olive bread on the side. Coffee was perfect, too. Definitely will make this our lunch stop on 81.
Update 12/29/2023 Yes. We are back and it's just as good as ever!

My fiance and I ate here last week. We were on our way home to Delaware after visiting my dad in SC. And this was the cutest place to get a quick dinner on the road. The staff was very nice and friendly, and the food was good. I really enjoyed the tomato bisque bc it had a little spice to it. Thanks yall! You helped fuel our 12 hour drive home :)

Amazingly delicious, healthy food! Everything is house made and locally sourced from farms and bakeries. Many options are available, both warm and cold. The menu items are scrumptious but the option to make your own is also fabulous. House made soups are offered on a rotating basis. We had the Napa vegetable sandwich, crab bisque, and custom-made quinoa bowl. Served with locally roasted coffee and herbal tea, this meal was a wonderful conclusion to a full day of outdoor activities in the cool weather. Very reasonably priced. I wish we lived locally.

Great little salad place! Fresh ingredients and lots of varieties, plus you can create your own salad! Employee was knowledgeable and polite. Definitely will return here!

I live in the DC metro area, I had to take a trip out to Southern VA. This was the first place in literally 100 miles that wasn’t Cracker Barrel, McDonald’s, or Subway. Luckily they advertise on the highway sign, as a mostly vegetarian I was thankful to see this option.

Pros:
- Clean bathrooms
- Mask wearing / clean food handling
- Good menu options, fresh ingredients, fast service

Cons:
- Not open very late
- “Healthy” is relative, if you want less dressing or are trying to avoid sugar, fat, etc, you must be specific when ordering!

Amazing gluten free sandwich!! I was so excited to have a sandwich that I forgot to take a picture of the full sandwich (yes that’s just half of a gluten free sandwich 🥹) Got the roast beef and cheddar cheese on gluten free bread, the sirancha Cobb salad and my husband got the southwest chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious and the gentleman behind the counter was very pleasant and helpful when it came to letting me know about all the gluten free options! He also prepared my sandwich first on a clean toasting plate and with fresh gloves.

Really great customer service by the two girls! Super quick at making my food and super friendly. Really enjoyed my visit!

We stopped by for the first time Sept 29, 2023 at the Harrisonburg va store. It was delicious and the young guy working was so friendly and nice. He joked with everyone making a wonderful atmosphere.

Hands down on of the best sandwiches I have ever had! It was so delish 😋 if you wanna good handmade food that provides healthy options this place can deliver! The staff was so kind and was warm and friendly to our whole family!

Personally, I especially liked that many salads don’t have cucumber, onions, or tomatoes - I hate all three.

We ordered takeout and ate at the arboretum. Got a buffalo chicken caesar sandwich and my partner got a quinoa bowl. Good healthy food option while traveling, especially for gluten sensitive diets. Bathrooms were nice and a welcome sight after multiple rest stop toilets.

My stop over place on the way to DC. Great vegan options. The sandwich was delicious. What's really cool is they have a sign on the interstate for it. First one for anything wholesome I've ever seen.

Great variety of healthy and locally sourced food choices. Vegan Delight salad with tomato soup was delicious. Logan was very helpful, answering all questions.

Excellent!! Gluten free, dairy free and vegan options abound! We stopped here on twice- way up and back - when traveling. So nice to have a quick healthy option instead of greasy fast food! Salad was fresh and great variety. I made my own salad both times and chose my toppings. Be sure to note 5 toppings included in small and 10 toppings in large and some toppings like meat, avocado and microgreens are extra. The young lady serving me was so sweet but must have been new because she was confused about all this until her supervisor stepped in. Unfortunately she also overcharged me but when I pointed it out to supervisor he refunded us one of our entrees to make it right. Great customer service! My hubby had the turkey club sandwich twice and preferred the potato bread to multigrain. Their soups are gluten free! Also option for gluten free bread and even gluten free cookies and pumpkin roll. Didn't taste any of these but nice there was that option. Nice seating in restaurant but limited. Bathrooms were clean and adequate.

Great food and service. Very good prices for the amount of food. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place with light healthy great tasting food options.

Stopped in for a quick and healthy dinner. The cafe did NOT disappoint. We ordered two salads and a sandwich to split. Everything was fresh and delicious!
