I love the dentist and hygienists that I see at Dental Health Associates. I’m a total white knuckler just to have my teeth cleaned but they completely understand and always ensure that my stress level is reduced and will prescribe medication if needed to help. I never have a long wait and can easily change dates if I need to.

700 miles from my own dentist and I was in extreme pain. I was examined quickly by very friendly staff. They were able to address the problem and start the process of recovery. I was very happy with the staff and the Dr.

Choosing a dentist/ dental practice to work with is a big deal to me. I am grateful and pleased with the care, consideration and treatment I have received from DHA @ Edmunds rd in Harrisonburg. I had moved to the area and was having serious pain a year ago. They saw me quickly and took my condition seriously.

This dental office is excellent. Dr. Cothran put me at ease and worked with great care through what could have been a very uncomfortable procedure. Her assistant and front office staff were all cordial and professional.

We absolutely love the dentist, hygienists and staff! They’re soooo attentive and courteous. We highly recommend them.

I awoke Saturday morning with a toothache. Having had several bad experiences with dentists, I had put off going for my annual checkups for several years. I called DHA on Monday at 8:00 am and by 11:30 I was home and recovering. Dr. Michelle Cothran was kind and professional, even though I was an emergency patient. She did not chastise me for not having a regular dentist and regular dental care. Everyone that I came in contact that morning very caring. On Tuesday evening I had a phone call from DHA as a follow-up to my procedure. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for dental care. I now have an appointment to begin my regular oral care.

This was my first time ever going to see a dentist/dental hygienist. Everyone from the office staff to the dentist herself (Dr. Michelle Cothran) were all SO kind, professional, and helpful. Once Kristi (dental hygienist) knew it was my first experience, she happily explained everything she was doing to help me feel more calm, and I enjoyed learning from her about dental health as we walked through it all. It was very affordable with my insurance, very clean and everybody was incredibly nice. I will be going back and plan on recommending them to anyone I know who needs dental care.

My dentist, Dr. Michelle Cothran, has been my dental provider for 18 months. 14 months ago she expertly added a crown to a lower right molar and three months later cemented it back on when it popped off.

In early September 2023, that molar began to be extremely sensitive to hot and cold. I had a similar experience 10 years ago that quickly led to a root canal treatment. I scheduled an appointment with her to review my situation expecting to begin the procedure for a root canal.

After giving me a test to ascertain the intensity and level of the tooth pain, to my surprise and delight, Dr. Cothran concluded that at this time I did not need a root canal. She advised me to switch to Sensodyne toothpaste and Listerine Gum mouthwash. I did and after two weeks the tooth pain was eliminated.

A less astute and compassionate dentist would have taken advantage of my ignorance and anxiety and set me up for an unnecessary root canal. Dr. Cothran’s expert handling of my case also illustrates the quality and integrity of the medical professionals that staff Dental Health Associates and this first class firm’s outstanding value proposition.

I was terrified about needing a root canal but during my procedure the dentist explained everything that was happening. He made sure I was comfortable and I never felt any pain. He was kind and also had a sense of humor which made me more at ease. The office staff was great too. This office always prints an estimate of how much the work will cost and let's you know how much your insurance will pay. My whole family goes here. Thank you.

I had a good experience yesterday at my appointment. Everyone was courteous and friendly and did their best to make me feel at ease.

They are very nice and really helpful with getting my daughter 's teeth taken care of.

This office is incredible. Everyone from the front desk, to billing, to hygiene, to dentists. They’re all so kind and informative. I’ve had major dental fear and anxiety my entire life and I’ve never had an experience that didn’t leave me a nervous wreck. I had to have my first major dental procedure with Dr Cothran this last week and I lost sleep over the prospect of having it done.

She put me at total ease, kept me informed, and even the numbing was nearly painless (I’ve had awful experiencing with this in the past). She let me listen to my podcasts and music with headphones while she worked, I was completely comfortable and knew I was in good hands. Absolutely no pain or discomfort during the procedure or after the lidocaine wore off. Further, I had no one available during the time of the appointment to drop my kids with, and they were welcomed to sit and read/draw in the waiting room during my visit.

So glad to have found a new dental team.

My hygienist was very thorough and very helpful in helping me maintain a healthy mouth. I also was very impressed with the dentist who came in to give the final check.

I have been looking for a good dental office. I think this is it. I was spoiled in Frederick, MD a friend was my dentist and miss that. The staff her was very pleasant and the exam, consultation and dental plan was done well. I am happy so far.

I had an issue that I felt needed to be addressed quickly. I was able to get an appointment the next day. I have been going to DHA for many Years. The people are so friendly offer first class service.
