Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings

The food was great!!! Served fresh and hot. The chicken tenders were cooked to perfection.. The staff was nice and courteous 😊

Just want to leave a review for the sweet crew member Connor working outside in the 99 degree weather! He had the most kind personality and was so professional and took the time to make conversation with each individual car that came through the drive thru! Thank you Connor for being so bubbly and making my entire day! Your energy can light up a room boo 🤍

I always go through the drive thru. I just wanted to say that Brittany and Connor are always smiling and upbeat. My order is never messed up and the whole ordering process is efficient.

Zaxby’s continues to supply with a great chicken sandwich it’s crispy and it actually tastes like real chicken. I love how they have a soda machine that serves unique flavors of Coke ,Sprite and Fanta! Would recommend!

Fried house Zalad is the bomb....esp with the chicken tossed in hot sauce, yummmm

Tara was very helpful and pleasant during my visit to this location. The food was good and fries were hot. Experience overall was pleasant. Thank you Tara for all your hard work, and for making sure we were taken care of.

I love Zaxbys, but the Macclenny store is the worst one...consistently! Numerous times they've gotten my order wrong, or left the dipping sauce out (and charged me extra to get it), or the drink machine is out of some drinks. Today it was out of ALL the drinks that I can have that I like. So I paid for free water...again. Happens a lot here. I've complained to the store and to corporate numerous times, but NO ONE from that store will contact me. It's been well over a year since I started contacting them and I've still not gotten a response from them. When I talk to one of them in person, they just don't care and act like they have no idea what I mean. 1 star.
(The Fernandina Beach Zaxby's, however, is great!)

UPDATE Nov 2022. Maybe they’re getting better. Our order has been correct and good twice in a row. Up until now they were still messing up our orders. Up to 2 stars now.

UPDATE: Sep 2023: They've improved greatly!!! I've been here several times in the past 5 months and this year they've got it!! Friendly order takers outside and friendly people at the window. Our orders have ALL been correct!! Excellent. I'll raise them from 2 starts to 5 stars now. Thank you for the improvement. They must have a new manager.

This is the best Zaxbeys i’ve been too ever!! They are always fast in the drive through and in the dinning room! This place is very clean, and all of there employees are very friendly! The manager, Tara, is the best!! If there is an issue she will fix it immediately! She is always making sure that her store is in great shape and that her employees are on top of it! This zaxbeys will never disappoint💗💗

My wife came in and ordered food and it was wonderful. We come in often and the experience never disappoints. The manager Gary is in there quite often when we come in and he is wonderful. Very kind and makes for a great experience.

I went through the drive-thru. The machine was malfunctioning (causing a wait), but that was out of the employees control. There was a wait, but the lady at the window was very polite and she and I carried a conversation while waiting. Her humility and manners were everything!!! I wish I would've gotten her name. Thank you!

Zaxbys is always my favorite when it comes to fastfood/diner, even when I'm sick, them HHM bone in wings make me feel better!

It was so delicious and very filling. My whole party left there satisfied. The wings were made to my expectations, and the dipping sauces for the chicken fingers were flavorful, and went well with the satisfying crunch of the tenders. The fries were seasoned to perfection, and the toast was delicious. Would eat there again.

This location gets pretty busy at times, but they seem to keep up pretty well. Even if there's a long line at the drive thru, they tend to get people thru quickly. I've never had a bad experience here, and the food is always tasty. It doesn't hurt, all the cute southern chicks that work there too, haha!

If you like all things chicken this is the place for you. They have everything from strips (fingers) to sandwiches to boned and boneless wings. The service was pleasant and quick with the food coming out shortly after I arrived. 10\10 would definitely eat here again.

Very pleased with the staffing at this location. The staff is amazing. The manager tara is amazing. If there is a problem she fixes it immediately & dose what she can do to have her customers leaving happy . She’s very nice. I will forever go to this location.💕

Great food and great service a Big Shout out to the Manager Tara Tillman as she makes sure everything is right and always on time. Our kids love the chicken and my wife loves the white cheddar bites.

Shoutout to everyone but Gary, unfortunately. Pulled thru the 1st time everyone was so nice, cute, & polite. Took my bf his salad & noticed mine was not correct. Seriously NBD, until, Gary asked me to pass the salad back thru the window. I didn’t feel comfortable passing the incorrect salad back thru a window properly prepared food was coming out of (it is actually a health code violation, not a covid precaution). This went on the make Gary a very unhappy camper as I told him I didn’t mind going inside or if he wanted to send someone out to get it I would prefer todo that but I was adamant on not passing it back thru the window (soon I’ll explain). I’ve worked in the food industry many years, I have seen the worst of the worst, TRUST ME, this is why I try to be understanding. Mr. Gary did not reciprocate the energy or my understanding. Oh well. He then goes on to yell WHATEVER & slams the drive thru window shut, obviously I am flabbergasted lol. Then another sweet girl came to the window and asked me if could pull up & apologized for her managers behavior. I asked her to tell Gary to come outside; basically so we could have a come to Jesus moment bc that was bizarre. Nowww, what Mr. Gary did not know, or care to just be mindful of, was that when I went to drop my boyfriend off his food, he works in a hospital. He works in a hospital where he comes in contact with patients who are sadly still being infected by Covid. Many areas are under quarantine but he is still responsible for their care. Being we live together in the same home, often times are in the same vehicle, I try to be mindful & considerate. Even if I wanted to be one of those people that were never satisfied, Gary let his temper get the best of him. But instead I was kind, & also recommended they check the temp on the cucumbers bc they were straight see thru.. NEVER LET THEM SEE YOU SWEAT GARY ITS NOT WORTH IT. Rant over, just be kind. ❤ But I’m giving 5 stars bc I can actually see that our local Zaxbys is trying todo better, hopefully this will be an isolated incident. 😊
