Carney Park Northborough

Its a beautiful park with many trais to enjoy on any weather. Due to good amount of open walking space, I especially enjoy walking here on colder but sunny days.
Though there are clear signs to leash the dogs, but still many do owners do not leash their dogs. Which can be bit harrowing to those who are not comfortable around free roaming dogs.
Access to parking lot is through a single lane pebbled lane. But once you reach parking lot there are quite a few unmarked parking spots.
I wish there a local map for this park posted here on the board, instead of confusing map of larger Northboro area.

It should be named Carney nature trail not a dog park. Basically that is what it is a trail a nature trail, it is pleasant and it is a beautiful nice nature trail

Great open space to let the dogs run free off the leash!! Fields, friends, and woodsy trails, what more could one want!! Ohh yeah, there is water to enjoy too!!!!

Nice relaxing day and walk along the pipeline with glowing water on either side. Not difficult. Very nice spot.

Beautiful little spot with mixed wooded trails and open flood plains. Signs require dogs to be on leash but almost everyone lets their dogs off leash. Can be a bit muddy and slick when it's been raining. Entrance is a little hard to find, a very narrow lumpy unpaved ramp next to a shopping complex.

Nice trail, fairly well maintained! It's a very easy trail to walk, great for all levels. It seems to be a great place for dogs, the paths are a good size and there's a lot of open space/fields for the dogs. There's plenty of parking and everything is well marked.

Beautiful place to walk/hike. Large open field that leads to a hiking trail. Dog-friendly! FYI the Park Rangers regularly patrol so just make sure you have a leash.

I take my dog nacho here all the time. Great people and dogs.

Love taking our dogs here everyday. PLEASE DO NOT LET YOUR DOGS SWIM IN THE WATER NEAR THE DRAINAGE PIPE! THE CURRENT IS VERY STRONG AND LARGE DOG GOT SUCKED IN AND DROWNED! The water looks deceivingly calm. So tragic and sad for the owners :(

A great place to walk! Took my dog and had a blast. Not the best place for a nervous dog, but a sociable dog will have the time of their life! Parking is pretty limited, though.

Lots of paths take you through fields and woods, but not big enough to get lost in. Walked for an hour and ended up back at my car.
Great spot for a stroll with a dog or a friend, or both!

Very well kept walking trail. Nice place to take your pup for a walk and great space to stay Social distancing with well marked and used signs for masks and common sense.

Great place to take your dog off leash. A lot he other dogs are friendly, there are plenty of trails for hiking and a field for the dogs to run in.

Great place to walk dogs. Was so nice to find these home made bird feeders. I think they are working too, it is a great park for bird watching.

Mostly dog walkers come here but it's a nice area with trails for walking without a dog too. All dogs have to be on leashes

Great trails and I love the sanctity and peaceful surroundings! Can't wait to see what the trails look like this upcoming spring! Winter time it's beautiful!

Great place to walk dogs. DOG HEAVEN! If you don't like dogs, it would be best to choose another park.
