Best dentist I ever went to. Staff is very friendly and always try to work with you to accommodate your needs. Dr. Chalker is an amazing dentist! Dentures, crowns, implants, feelings - my family had it all and super happy with quality and prices. This is a great place to bring your little ones! Highly recommend this place!

Dr. Chalker has a great professional, knowledgeable staff and has been a terrific dentist for my family. No matter the appointment time, it seems that they almost always call us back before we can sit down. Submitted insurance claims have been worked out efficiently and painlessly - thanks to the benefits coordinator. When I called about a problem tooth, they suggested that I make it worth the visit by scheduling the cleaning then. I called on a Mon. AM and they saw me by Wed. of that week.
I appreciate the care they give my family. They have excellent customer service!

Been to many Dentists through the years, and Dr. Chalker and all her staff are the best! ! ! I look forward to my visits . . . now how many people can say that?

I broke my front tooth last night and called the emergency line. Dr. Chalker took time to assess my situation and worked me into her busy schedule this morning. She did a phenomenal job and rebuilt my tooth! All with Little to no discomfort!

Without a doubt the best experience I've had. The staff is very friendly and make visiting the dentist a pleasure. They are very knowledgeable regarding insurance claims and take care of submitting the paperwork. Top notch practice!!!

Kind and professional staff!

I went to Dr Chalker because I had a Cracked lower Front Tooth and She accepted Humana Insurance.
Her 2 Techs hit my Painful Tooth Twice as They took sloppy X-rays. Kurt, The Receptionist was Very Nice, but Very Busy.
I Met Dr. Chalker, She said "Yes You do have a Bad Tooth that I can't Save. You need to choose a Surgeon to pull it. I have a few in Mind."
I Replied " No Thanks, I am going to
Dr. Kesecker. He is the Only One that Pulls My Teeth out."
She looked at Me... Didn't like That I Knew Dr. Kesecker."
I asked for an Antibiotic. She told Me ...
I didn't Need One.
Today, is the 28th of July Dr Kesecker,
I have a Huge Abscess and You were Wrong Not Giving Me an Antibiotic.
I couldn't Pull my Tooth out.

You will get scammed here. I wish I had posted this review sooner but I kept second guessing myself. When I moved to Harrisonburg several years ago a few colleagues recommended I go here. The office is really nice so I kept going. Despite the fact that I have always had great teeth (my parents spent so much money on braces, retainers, cleanings etc.), Dr Chalker said I needed fillings every time I saw her. One time she suggested I needed 3 fillings, and that I get them done over 2 appointments. Getting 2 fillings at once traumatized one of my teeth so much that I then was in pain and needed a root canal. After that she said I needed more fillings. This was suspicious so I stopped going and switched to Family Dentistry. Not only did the Dr there tell me I didn’t need any fillings, I also overheard an older gentlemen leaving their office while I was in the lobby saying how confused he was that they said he didn’t need any fillings but Dr Chalker said he did. I have since learned that dentists will tell you you need procedures that you don’t need to fill their books. Always get a second opinion!!!

Awful customer service. I’ve waited for an appointment for over a year. Made my first appoint to find out they had cancelled it. Rescheduled the appointment waited two months, they sent me a txt message to let me know my appointment is cancelled again. I called the office to see if we could fix the issue as I was having symptoms and a bad toothache, let them know I’ve been waiting for this appointment for more than a year to which they said “they aren’t the only dentist in town”. Don’t recommend this dentist and the clinic. Poor customer care service.

I showed up for my appointment only to find that they had cancelled it and couldn't see me for another two months, despite the fact that I have never rescheduled, cancelled, or missed an appointment. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!
