Uptowne Mediterranean Restaurant

I can't believe it's taken me this long to do a review on Uptowne.
My wife and I have been coming here a couple years now, I've probably tried half the menu at this point... Family owned, super friendly and hands down the best food around.
The portions are always generous and they are very reasonably priced. Just an all around great experience every time we come here. Chris is also the best waiter ever!

Looking for some good Lebanese/middle eastern food, this is the place. Also, if you are looking for a good Shawarma in an authentic doner style this your place. I have tried multiple location in Worcester, but none were this authentic in spice and preparation style.

Got the beef Shawarma platter with French fries - $16 , one the best in Worcester I had. The meat and the spice well absolutely flavorful, and the french fries was really crunchy.
Mixed platter was great too, ( 32$), it contained (approx 6-7 inch) two skewers of chicken, One skewer lamb and one skewer of beef, good portion of tabloueh, rice, half flat bread, small portion of hummus, and garlic mayo sauce They give you the option to have ground or cube meat for the skewers.
Loved the beef cube kabobs was really juicy and flavorful. The tabloueh was fantastic.

The service was really great , met the waitress who have been working there for 15year .. WOW. Even the owner was just friendly, she came and spoke to us. Didn’t have room for the dessert will definitely try them. They have baklava and kanafa. .

The mix kabab grill was absolutely delicious!
And the flavors of the mix kabab grill were amazing. I really enjoyed it.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I've heard nothing but good things, and now I know why. The food was incredible, the service was equally as good, and the Baklava, oh, the Baklava. This was arguably the best Baklava I've ever had the pleasure of eating. It truly was worth the trip to this restaurant. Even if you're unsure about Mediterranean fare, at least stop in and enjoy a slab of this deliciously flaky treat. You will not be disappointed.

I tried the spicy lamb roll-up at Uptowne Mediterranean restaurant and was completely blown away by its flavour and tenderness! The lamb was cooked to perfection, char on the outside and juicy, pink interior. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy and had hint of fresh herbs. I also tried their falafel wrap, which was delicious. The wrap was soft and lightly toasted, filled with scrumptious falafel and fresh lettuce.
Overall, I highly recommend spicy lamb roll-up and their fries for anyone craving good Lebanese meal.

Absolute favorite go to place for us. Incredible taste every time we take out. We have been taking out regularly from this place and we just love falafel platter and chicken shawarma platter.

You can't always judge a book by its cover and that's the case with Uptowne Mediterranean. The fairly unassuming exterior belies the quality of the food. This is the best Greek food I've had in some time. The appetizer sampler includes meat pie, kibblie ball, grape leaves hummus and pita. All delicious and well seasoned. We also tried the spinach pie which had flaky crust and plenty of spinach. The Chicken Tekka and Kibbee rolls were both also delicious, packed with flavor. Nice lunch sized rolls. The lettuce was fresh and the hummus and tsatziki sauces were so yummy. Everything was fresh and so tasty. Definitely worth stopping in for lunch. Takeout with easy online ordering, or eat at one of the tables inside.

Uptowne is a phenomenal spot for authentic middle eastern cuisine, for take out or for a casual dine in experience. In addition to great shawarma and falafel, I highly recommend the potato chop for something different as an appetizer, and the spicy chicken kebab is delicious and unique. The couple who run it are delightful and Lisa is a wonderful waitress. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!!

This is the best Shawarma I’ve eaten in Massachusetts. Very authentic Lebanese style Shawarma and Kafte. Stuffed grape leaves are amazing and a must! Highly recommended and I would drive an hour to come here and enjoy the delicious food at least once a week 😋

Finally, we made it to this lovely Mediterranean restaurant! We took our friends and had a wonderful time there. The food is just incredible, ingredients feel so high-quality, we love the family style arrangements and everyone is so friendly. There’s no doubt that will be back very soon again. Be sure to try everything on the menu we highly recommend Kibbe, their dessert is another surprise too. The restaurant is so clean and we love the atmosphere!

Saves you a flight to Turkey! Best Shawarma and lamb kababs you can find. Very economical and fast service. Since we found this place, it has been our go to.
They have a great vegetarian burger as well if you like and spicy potato as Batata Hara.

It's been a couple years since I've been in town but the food is still as delicious as I remember!

The chicken shawarma with their garlic sauce is fabulous and always have to get the baba ganoush!

Lisa, our server was knowledgeable and helpful in recommending the right food. The Mixed shwarma plate was excellent. The baklava was a sweet ending to the tasty and filling meal!
Warm, family atmosphere. Owners were very welcoming. Highly recommended.

Walked into a clean bright space, and promptly greeted with a smile! Told we could sit anywhere and grabbed the ready menus on the counter. Our order was taken, and yummy spices and char enticed our noses while we waited a short time for the chicken and lamb wraps to arrive. The fresh greens and hummus with the tender meat was delicious and satisfied our hunger.
Will be back again soon!

Uptowne Mediterranean is my favorite go to spot for any kind of local food! Lunch or dinner, I grab my shawarma roll up at least once every week! Highly recommend trying their chicken beef combo roll up.

As you walk in the door you get the wonderful smell of the meats. The service was so friendly and welcoming. I got the Combo Swarma and it was heavenly! I definitely will be coming back again.

The food is really tasty and interesting. It might not be your typical shawarma (a dish that differs between middle eastern cuisines) but it's so good and flavorful. Hummus, great. Falafel, great. The service has never disappointed. If my diet allowed, I would eat here several times a week.
