Love this place. Their only downfall is that the lines are too long most of the time. The food is great. They have nice vegetarian and gluten free options. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Not too far from the lake either.

Great food , great service! This is a gem in McCall . I order the bison hamburger with a side of fries and everything tasted so fresh and good! Definitely coming back

This place is A MUST to go to when your hungry in McCall. The burgers are made with fresh USDA meat. The lines are insane around lunch time. If you go around 3:00 pm it’s not as bad on a Thursday weekday. Weekends are a different story in the summer. This restaurant has been a famous place to go for many years. The shroom burger was delightful and tasty & the fries were tasty, hot & fresh. Customer service was top notch for how busy they get. The menu has other things to get as well. Give this place a try if you haven’t already while in McCall.

I like to stop here when I come through town. The burgers are great. Don't be in a big hurry because they are always busy. I always know a place is good when it's always full of locals. This is like an old-fashioned drive-in. I would highly recommend you try one of their many different burgers.

Amazing burgers. We got the smoke jumper and the mushroom burgers. The smoke jumper was basically a chunk of beef with some slices of ham in between, making a good filling tasty burger. The mushroom burger was tasty and a bit more crunchy. We also got the sweet potato fries and the tater tots. The sides were both very tasty, with the tots hanging a nice solid crunch on the outside.

Great locally owned business that cares about their customers and take pride in their work. The burgers were huge, juicy, flavorful, and fresh! I had the Grandpa Earl's Elk Burger and my wife had the Baconeer (she added grilled onions :) The fries and onion rings were amazing and the serving size was huge! They have a nice selection of burgers, chicken, vegetarian, and sides - and don't skip the delicious, creamy, very flavorful shakes! The service was friendly and very quick especially as busy as they were! Tip: if you prefer your elk burger well done let them know in advance, they keep them on the medium rare side since elk is lean and becomes very dry when cooked to well done. BTW check out their menu on their website instead of Google to get the accurate menu. Go and enjoy!

Stopped here on our way through MaCall, great food and friendly service! One of the best burgers I've had in a whole.

The burgers were great! There was a small line when we visited at 3pm but it was worth the wait. The staff were very courteous.

WORTH THE WAIT!!!!
The lines are long but the burgers are worth it! Very nice employees, helpful and kind. But the food was impressive for a small town burger joint. Fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, very hot and fresh! The Fire House Jalapeño Burger was top notch: juicy, hot, flavorful, and the perfect amount of spicy! Highly recommend this place, I’ll be back to try the shakes!

The customers speak for themselves, I personally enjoyed the sweet potato fries. The food really was incredible and the atmosphere definitely invites family outings. I’d eat here again, definitely recommended for anyone looking for a good meal!

Let me tell you the ladies that run this place know their way around burgers and service in general. Excellent burgers , great shakes , warm friendly people . We are in town for a hockey tournament and glad we ate lunch here 1st .. Don't need to look anywhere else for amazing food .

Highly recommend if you are in the area. We stop here for lunch ever time we are in McCall. The Heli-Tac Burger is a must if you like Bleu Cheese. The line is insane during the summer months but oh so worth it. Once you order food comes out quick.

My wife and I stopped here for the first time. Absolutely amazing food and shakes. The burgers are very tasty with the fresh veggies and the onions rings are the best we've ever had. Will be back again and again.

Vintage style burgers, fries and shakes with a few new age offerings like açaí bowls. Locally brewed Beer and canned cocktails also on the menu.

Huge patio with views of of the lake, walking distance to shops and entertainment.

Excellent food. Great service, with a smile. The owner is a sweet lady. If you like burgers and are in the area, there is no justification not to patronize this business. Eat here, you won’t regret it.

We have loved every single burger we tried here. We opted for onion rings over fries and they were also delicious. Shakes are truly the best I have ever had - opt for the real fruit add in!!!

HOLY MOLY WHAT A BURGER! The firehouse was recommended by our server and I absolutely ENJOYED IT! The fries are absolutely perfect for me. My wife had the shroom burger and it was delicious too. Thank you for the awesome lunch!

I grew up coming here occasionally as a treat, and so this is just traditional to go an for me to enjoy. They have a lot of unique burgers and good shakes. It's a bit pricey, but really nice food. I love it, and recommend it to everyone.

My Father's Place has been my absolute favorite restaurant in McCall for over 20 years! A trip to My Father's Place used to be the only way my parents could get me to even go to McCall! The line can seem intimidating but once you order your food will be out in 10 min or less.

The fry sauce is the most addicting thing I've eaten in my entire life. It's not something I had growing up in California so it was such a treat on the visit.

More importantly- they are so wonderful about catering to my celiac disease. I have a genuine allergy to gluten and they are able to cater to it completely! They have gluten free buns that are not even put on the same workspace as the normal buns AND they have a dedicated gluten free fryer. Paula's Famous Nut Burgers are even completely gluten free. It's so amazing to have my health problems taken seriously and supplemented with amazing food. They have an extra milkshake machine for allergies as well (not used with peanuts and I BELIEVE gluten).

They are happy to answer any questions for allergies/ intolerances and are so wonderful to find options to work with you and your family. 100% worth a visit.
