The Pub at Safety Harbor

Looking for new place to eat and
found this little gem by passing by. It's just off the main drag in Safety Harbor. Sat outside in small beer garden ot back for dinner and catch football game. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Checked on us frequently and refilled water and ice tea without asking. The quality of the food was a wonderful surprise for a sports bar. I had bangers and mash, my husband had the shepherds pie, both got salade. Good greens on the salade and homade ranch dressing, the sausage was tender and juicy. The meat in the pie was flavorful, husband just wished for little more gravy. Live in the area and will definitely be back.

So glad I decided to check this place out finally and what a great surprise. Not only did I run into old friends from days past in Safety Harbor but they are now the General Manager, Nikki and Chef Jason here at The Pub at Safety Harbor. Happy to know that I can once again dine on chef Jason's famous prime meat loaf. It is the best you will ever have. Also tried the wood fired pizza and it is also a hit. Can't wait get back again and try more of the menu. I quit going to Safety Harbor after they split with their previous place there. Happy to be back.

Omg Dee's Wings are so amazing I wish I had more! The Fire Roasted Pizza even better! I loves looking at the oven reminded me of my childhood fireplace! My favorite were the skellingtons everywhere lol yes I'm a weirdo 🤪

Best pizza in Pinellas. UPDATE: 9 years later this is still one of the best pizzas in the area. The crust is always perfect and crispy. Today we had some wings and they were amazing!
If you’ve never been here you have to come and try the food, enjoy the quality service and ambiance.

Great food, amazing wings and wood fired pizza, full bar, amazing service, comfortable setting, outside patio with flame heaters. Competitive prices. I had a great experience.

Tillie and Shyenne were absolutely amazing, extremely helpful in answering all my questions on my first visit here. The pesto pizza was so flavorful and cheesy and the wings were huge and delicious, the blue cheese is a must!! I can't wait to come back and try a different pizza!

My favorite local " cheers" pub! The meatloaf is fantastic served with a spicy catsup. Service is always excellent...love it that they know my beer choice and bring it right out. Also, thanks for providing great live music!

Starting with a wood fired oven is good. They have wonderful beers on tap. Open for over 10 years. Check out live music on scene when the schedule allows. 💜

The pizza was excellent, the service friendly, and the atmosphere fun. We ordered the margarita and white pizzas.

Had a fabulous time while watching Miami Dolphins. Nikki was very attentive never leaving us to wanting for anything. She was very welcoming and personable. Will definitely be back next week.

This place is very welcoming. Bartender Chris is very personable and just cool. Every employee we ran into acknowledged us and wanted to make sure we were taken care of. The food was awesome (meat balls and chili con queso dip). We will definitely be back. The food was great, but the employees made it better. Can’t wait to try the pizza! 👍

Nice place with good atmosphere and food. During the Third Friday they always bring a nice band.

Wow!!! 8th Avenue really knows how to throw a block party!!! And the band was Amazing...Whiskey Throttle!!! The pizza is Fabulous!!! 😍

I love this place! It was my first visit but won’t be my last! I bought a house recently in Safety Harbor and The Pub is walking distance from my house!! The food, service, vibe and live music all worked in harmony!

We’ve been avoiding The Pub because we thought it was just that - some dark, loud, hole in the wall. Boy, were we wrong! This is our new favorite pizza place in Safety Harbor!! I’m not a fan of New York style pizza because the crust gets soggy. The maestro in front of the pizza oven at The Pub has serious game here. No soggy pizza, tons of flavor! The Pub is very clean, modern, and not noisy at all. The service was perfect! I cannot say enough good things about the Pub and my apologies for waiting this long. Better late than never, right? Thank you for everything!!
