Ponderosa State Park Visitors Center

Beautiful day to hang out in the park. It’s been quiet and peaceful with clear skies. Today I’m hanging out near the main visitor center.

There’s lots of green grass to lay on, restrooms, and a shelter. The shelter is available for use unless someone has already reserved it.

You will hear crows and other birds. Squirrels and other critters sneak by.

There's a great beach area down below the visitor's center with a few picnic tables and designated/protected swim area. There's also some large grassy areas and of course you're surrounded by beautiful trees mountains and the lake. Great place to visit!

Loved the wildlife displays. Showed an array of wildlife I'd never seen before. Nice shirts available for purchase too.

The lady who fielded my questions was wonderful. This visitor center building is beautiful!

Great place to take the family. I really love that they have added picnic benches down by the lake as well!

The attendants at the front desk were so very helpful. I have never had a bad experience with at the visitor center.

Great place to spend the afternoon at the lakeside beach. Grassy areas. Picnic tables. Sandy beaches. Sand wash off station and places to launch your paddle boards.

The ponderosa State Park has a visiting center it's small but it's really nice to check it out nice place to visit and swim and fish big lake there it's just real close to the town of McCall not far at all

Very nice Information center there is a nice grass area and beach entrance that is stunning you can spend hours relaxing on.

Nice afternoon on avery nice beach. Not crowded.

Beach and hiking trail access during the summer and groomed hiking trail in the winter.

Courteous and friendly staff. They answered all of our questions.
