So this is not a “food bank” this is a food distribution for the food bank. I will say when I found that out she was so kind gave me a calendar of food banks and food pantry’s as well as gave me a dry goods box which really saved the day! It had shelf
Stable milk! And plenty of items I was not expecting to receive very grateful for the services they provide. Just be aware if your looking for a food pantry this is not that but they can give you better resources to find them. I recommend calling and seeing if you can get an emailed copy rather than making the trip to the facility.

This location is a distribution center for local food pantries in El Dorado County. They can help you by giving you a printed calendar of days/times/locations to
pickup provisions.

I've had occasions where I've needed their help, and they were always able to connect me to what I needed. Keep in mind, please, that this is a bank. When you can, please consider giving them a deposit so they will be there the next time you or someone else needs a withdrawal. God bless these folks! Long line of cars even if you get there early prepare to wait. People stand around chit-chatting little too much when they should just move on for the next person. See employees are doing their best and are very pleasant. The food is always fresh and actually good stuff not a bunch of weird stuff you'll never use. All in all it was a pretty good experience.

People there are very helpful, my husband has stage 2 cancer, they made our thanksgiving a delight Thank You!

I found the folks at the food bank of El dororado county to be friendly and hard working, and while they were too busy to idly chat, they were very helpful and gave me all the information to answer my questions either in person or with supplemental printed leaflets/ brochures...I hadn't realized that they are more a distributorship to all the food distributors than a public help outlet, though they welcome volunteers and accept food donations, which are tax deductible, btw...I got the feeling that here, unlike many charities out there, people were actually concerned with helping any/all persons in need and going above and beyond to make a difference. I recommend a visit to the E.D.C. food bank to anyone that wants to help feed the families and individuals that have been challenged in these economically turbulent times, but don't expect to stand around waiting for a tour; Rather, be prepared to roll up your sleeves and lend a hand- there's a lot to be done. My father is a disabled veteran that receives the Food Bank of El dorado Countys services he cant stop taking about the great things they do. Thanks food bank for suporting my father in his time of need. Our family respects everyone at the food bank more than we can put into words.

The staff and volunteers really care about what they do. So many people in EDC depend on these kinds of services and I'm glad EDC has a local food bank that focuses on the needs of the community.

Volunteering here is very fulfilling. Anyone can get a hot meal 365 days a year from 4 to 5:30.

Down to business and serves a huge amount of people. Not very talkative but the only place i will dontate to because how they actually serve our community and are out everywhere.
