Here from out of town. Got right in on a Saturday. Very caring and excellent service.

Believe this is the most caring, cost effective vet north of Columbus. I happily drive 30 minutes there when ever my cats need updates or taken care of.

Sandy gave my pets care & flea control when I couldn’t afford it. She kept a running tab & let me pay it when I got my income tax refund . She did this for years. When I got my refund I paid her immediately. This tells me how much she loves animals & trusted me. She is loved & missed. Matt Glass took over & we love him too. Julie has ran this place for years! Love, love, love her! Sandy did too. Sandy once told me “If Julie would ever leave, I’d leave too”.

My wife has gone to them for years. Had to put our dog down and the staff was exceptionally understanding and compassionate. Obviously nothing makes that experience easy... but they were heartfelt and made it as bearable as can be. Prior to that sad experience, they were very professional and knowledgeable about the breed and provided very educated options for taking care of our dog. Any time our new puppy needs anything, we'll definitely come here again for good care.

Our dog had a thorn in his paw that we couldn't get out. Called our "regular" vet - they just said they were too busy. Called another vet they didn't answer the phone. Called here - she said they were double booked but to come anyway and they'd squeeze him in. Which they did. This is our new "regular" vet!

Sandy and her staff are awesome. I left voice mail just before 8am today with a sick 8 week old kitten and got a call back at 8:38am asking if I could bring kitten in at 9:30 this morning. Sandy treated her with antibiotics and eye drops. She's feeling much better. Thank you Sandy and Julie!!

Such a Compassionate Caring Lady. Not just a Veterinarian. Has a Great Caring for each and every Animal that comes in her presence. Thank you Sandy. Been seeing Dr. Sandy for years and she retired back in the winter. Dr. Matt Glass bought her practice and although i havent had a lot of interaction with him, he seems very knowledgeable in his field. He has a very nice bedside manner and very kind. I think he will do well.

Took my min pin there today got a quick well check. We’re not clients of Dr Carpenter, since our vet wasn’t open today they agreed to get our dog on. What a great place!! They were very busy, but still got our dog in for a visit. She took time to answer my questions, and make sure that my dog was good to go home. Thank you for seeing us today! It’s greatly appreciated 🙂

Our family used to use the other Veterinarian in the area for years, but her rates kept climbing to a point where we started looking for other options. Thankfully we found Dr Carpenter! Dr Carpenter's rates are much more reasonable, and the care she gives our pets is outstanding. There are numerous stories where Dr Carpenter showed the kind of compassion and care that went far beyond what anyone would have expected. We highly recommend her to everyone we know. Great Vet!!

My in-laws have always taken their dogs to Sandy, and i take my dogs there now to. She is very reasonably priced and gentle with my dogs. I have an American Eskimo who is very skittish around strangers, but he didn't even flinch with her. Best vet around!

Since it wont let me post another review, I will edit this post from a year ago.. Today on April 29 2019, I took my cat in as a walk in since he was having issues going the bathroom. Sandy was able to work us in within 10 minutes and was so very helpful and gentle with my cat who ended up having a UTI. Sandy really is the best vet, and gebtle with animals.

Sandy is AWESOME! I have been taking my animals to her for years. I lived all the way in Columbus and Mt. Vernon and still took them to her. Mostly we see her for regular check-ups, but the this past time I saw her because I was worried my 11 year old cat had diabetes. Sandy got Kitten in the next day and took a blood test. Even though she was closed the next day, she called me with the results. We were in two days after the first appointment and Kitten was all taken care of. She gave me two options to help my kitty, because I will do anything to help him. Long and short of it, the whole office is wonderful! The vet techs are sweet and knowledgeable. I am moving to TN and I WISH I could take Dr. Carpenter with me.

Hands down, she’s the best around! She loves our animals just as much as we do! We always leave her office knowing our pets received the best care possible. I highly recommend Dr. Carpenter and her friendly staff!

sandy is super kind as well as her receptionist; they are also extremely reasonably priced. all of mine, my mothers, and my boyfriend's animals go through her and i recommend her to anyone needed a good vet.

We absolutely LOOOOOVE Dr Sandi Carpenter! If I could give her more than just 5 stars, I definitely would! She is by far the BEST and most affordable vet we have ever taken our animals to! She has even been able to get our animals in the same day, within 2 hrs or less from calling her, when we've had a semi-emergency come up. We have to travel about 30 mins to take our pets to her but to us it's nothing and would gladly travel even further if we had to just for the time and amazing care she gives our furbabies.
I really can't say enough about how amazing she is and how much our family adores her!
Story time! lol.....
The photos I'm posting is of our boy Thor, at about 8-9 weeks old or so, right after we got home from him having surgery for a nasty umbilical hernia that ruptured, which was performed by Dr Sandi Carpenter. We were told he only had a 50% chance of making it bc of his size and age by the person that seen him 1st in her office before he was taken from us to have an emergency procedure done not even 30 mins after we left... but Dr Sandi and her amazing gift and talent saved his life. She called me herself no sooner than we walked in our home to let us know how everything went, that he did actually make it through the operation, his prognosis at that time, and how Thor was doing. Then again a couple days later with an update and that we could come get him and finally bring him home. After I recovered from being terrified over the uncertainty of him making it or not, it didn't take long before the thought and dread of how much all of that would cost sunk in. I admit, I was terrified of what the bill was going to be and whether we'd have to end up using our funds for groceries that month as well just to cover it all... but I was in complete shock when I seen it being I actually had enough set aside for emergencies like this and we were able to actually pay the entire bill right then and didn't have to touch our grocery money (meaning our family would still be able to eat actual meals that month and not be on a ramen noodle diet!lol), since it wasn't even half of what I was imagining. Especially with him having to stay there for several day to make sure he recovered after being sedated, I for sure thought it would be a small fortune.lol. Just her saving him we were beyond thankful but her affordability makes an enormous impact on so many families and them being able to properly care for their pets not to mention, giving them a fighting chance at living a wonderful life.
Even now, many months later, she actually still remembers us every time she sees us and always asks about our lil Thor every time we come in even if it's for one of other pets.
She truly is an incredible woman...and vet! 🤗🥰❤
