Dugas Dental - Mt. Gilead

Dr Wheeler was FABULOUS. I had a dental emergency and the staff worked me in within hours to be seen. I was very grateful being new to the area. Every staff member was kind, friendly and knowledgeable. The office was extremely clean with a relaxing atmosphere. I'm usually very nervous about trying a new dental professional, but I highly recommend Dugas Dental in Mt Gilead.

Wonderful. Complete exam, more so than I have ever received in the "Big City" where I used to live. The offices were clean, the equipment was cleaned after use in front of me. I experienced no pain at all, which wasn't true in the Big City. The hygienist, Renee, was skilled and a delight to work with. And the dentist? She was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend this practice.

I always enjoy going to Dugas Dental to get my teeth cleaned. They are professional and have a great team. The dentist is abreast of the latest technology and truly cares about his patients. So glad they are here locally!

This was the first time in over 25 years that I have had a different dentist perform repairs on my teeth. As you can imagine, I was a little nervous going in but that did not last for long. Dr. Wheeler and the staff did a fantastic job keeping me relaxed during the procedures. It was truly painless, and during a few breaks, we actually had a few laughs! I will happily be returning and would recommend them to anyone.

Wonderful staff! I just had extensive dental work up and I was pretty nervous at the beginning! Dr Dugas was awesome! He got rid of my nervousness! Dr Dugas was very gentle, took his time explaining what he was doing throughout the procedure, and ensuring that I was doing ok. Hanna, his assistance, was awesome too!

I have been going to this office for years. I loved Dr Ritz and my sister Sherrie is one of the amazing hygienest and always cleans my teeth. Now Dr Dugas has taken over and is my dentist and he is amazing as well. I have VERY sensitive teeth and the last place I want to be is at the dentist but they make sure I am comfortable and pain free. I would recommend this office (who are also always on time) to anyone that wants a dentist and staff that cares about their patients.

I had my very first dental appointment at Dugas Dental yesterday (10-3-23). Maura did a great job cleaning my teeth and Dr Wheeler did a very thorough examination and clearly discussed future work to be done. Both were a joy to chat with also!

I had been going to Steve Ritz for years and when he decided to retire, I decided to stay and give the new owners a try.
I am glad I did. I just got 2 temporary crowns put on and the experience was pleasant. They explained everything they were doing and even showed me pictures during the process. I would highly recommend Dugas Dental. They are very professional and super friendly.

I have been going to Dr. Ritz my whole life and always loved my experience with him and now that it has changed hands I’m so pleasantly surprised that I’m still having the same great experience now that it is Dugas Dental. The new staff are wonderful, the staff that was there with Dr. Ritz will always be my favorite, especially Kelly Hinkle but it’s a fantastic group of professionals in the Mt. Gilead office. I’m thankful to still feel the small town atmosphere even though the business is a little different.

We LOVE this office! The staff is AMAZING. One of my girls was terrified of the dentist and they make it a comfortable experience and take away all the fear and anxiety. Each visit is getting easier and easier for her. They never make you feel ashamed for letting things go, instead, they educate and remind you that us parents need to take care of ourselves too, not just the kids. 😉

I have been going to Dugas Dental, formerly Dr Ritz, in Mount Gilead Ohio since 2004. That obviously shows you that I received wonderful caring service there from the front desk to all of the hygienist and all the staff that work there. I recommend you give them a call and set up an appointment and you'll be one of their patients for life. Everyone is so helpful and positive you'll love the experience you have there.

I have never been to such a great dentist and staff. There you are treated like family. Everyone is kind and caring and are truly concerned about you. They go the extra mile for you. This is the second time I have been to Dugas Dental and seen by Dr. Ameha. He is very professional, yet personable and friendly. No one really “enjoys” going to the dentist, but everyone here tries to help make your experience as pleasant as possible and to keep your smile looking good.😀
