Hometown Carryout

This store is so clean and always smells so nice when you walk in. The sandwiches are huge and very reasonably priced. Always stocked with the goodies you are looking for! Always cold beer and drinks. The owner and her daughter are lovely people!

Place is wonderful. Women are very nice and respectful. I absolutely stop every time I come through. There food is amazing and very friendly people to just have a conversation with while getting what I need to from their store. Definitely a must visit

This place is great they got good breakfast, the Burgers are great and they always got cold beer. The owner is awesome and out going !!!!

Limited selection and food is not that good, very limited hours and owner wouldn't take a 2 dollar bill. I prefer to just avoid this place and go 5 more minutes down the road to Country Carry-Out.

The female that works the counter (the owner, I think) is very ill mannered. I overlooked it the first time, thinking she may be having a bad day. The second time, it annoyed me more. This time, I stopped because of the bright colored "breakfast" sign set out on the sidewalk. Without looking at me, she growled that she doesn't offer hot food until lunch but, that I could order a cold deli sandwich. She was very disapproving of the sandwich I asked for, telling me how much it would "probably" cost. I wasn't price checking my lunch. It would be nice if she would just prepare my order instead of guessing if I could afford it or eat it all. It would be even better if she would drop the attitude. Next time, I'll stop in Cadiz, wait until I get to St Clairsville, or just go hungry.

Food is awful and the owner is rude. She gave a customer a hard time about a $2 bill! How backwards and uneducated are you to not know that it’s legitimate currency? Go to Docs or Country Carryout instead. They are better and friendlier.
