Kroger

This is a great store. They are almost always busy - and for good reason. The prices are high on some items but the sale prices are really good. It's a mid- sized store but it's packed with merchandise. And the employees are great. You see the same faces day after day and they are usually smiling. The produce department is tops and the meat section has great sales and the staff are always helpful. I don't know what Mount Vernon would do without them.

Store was clean, had everything I was looking for , and friendly staff.

They just put up new doors on the yogurt isle and they look great!!!

The meat department at the Kroger's in Mt Vernon is one of the best I have ever seen. You can tell the employees in this department take a lot of pride in this department and work hard at keeping it stocked and cleaned. During this trying time I think that groceries stores have all been overwhelmed and under appreciated. It would be nice for the employees to know how much they do is noticed by not only customers but by their management.

I lost a sentimental ring 💍 today and after searching for it in my grocery bags and my purse my heart just sank. My husband suggested that I call the store and even though I was skeptical of it being found the associate who answered my call said, "I'm pretty sure I'm holding it in my hand right now" Thanks to whomever found it and turned it in!

Excellent grocery store. Love that the natural food section is still its own section.

Just picked up a custom flower arrangement after I got off work and even though it was late evening on Valentine's Day there was a good selection and the staff were very helpful. They did great in putting together the flower presentation that I wanted and it didn't even cost very much !

Went grocery shopping today and Becky the cashier was so kind to unload all of my groceries for me onto the belt being that iam 8 months pregnant. I really appreciate you Becky! And thank you to the young man who bagged all of the groceries too and helped me unload it all into my truck, didn’t catch his name!

This Krogers has the best fresh meat and seafood case in the county. Always fresh and is well maintained.
The staff is just GREAT.
So if your looking for the best meats and seafood forget about the local Meat stores and get it here and the prices are very good...
The pharmacy is wonder. Yes there is a line but the customer service when you arrive at the counter is better than walmart and the hometown pharmacys.

I ordered a custom princess cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday. The girl that took my order didn't convey the details on the order so the day before it was needed, Summer called me and together we were trying to come up with something she could do. Long story short she did an amazing & beautiful job! Thank you Summer!

I love this store for a smaller grocery store. Great selection of organics, nice deli, nice beer and wine selection, great cheese and bread options. . Employees and management are ALWAYS friendly and helpful! Would love to see some beer or wine tasting evenings and maybe beer on tap for growlers.

One of the best weil stocked & maintained Krogers ♿ equipment is usually 👌 available for your use--charged and ready to go--in store, not left in parking lot by inconsiderate users

Nice store, decent prices and rewards program.
We also love the fresh meat and seafood selection! Have grilled ribeye, burgers,and seafood in foil (shrimp, scallops, corn on the cob, potatoes, onion ect...) and swordfish and tuna steaks on the patio several times during the summer. Deli also makes great salads (potato, pasta, and macaroni).

Krogers is the only place I grocery shop now everything I want or need that ( I would eat or drink). Always good deals with the Kroger card everyone's super nice,attentive, and they're super quick in the lines too

Love this location of the store, all that it has to offer choice wise for what you're shopping for, the atmosphere, cleanliness of store, and the staff. Only thing that would make it better is better Wi-Fi so I can actually look at my digital coupons while trying to shop, sprint has no service in this store.

I've been to mount Gilead Kroger's.
Once you have been to mount Vernon Kroger's the
Mount Gilead Kroger's won't be good enough.

I normally find the people of Mt. Vernon very friendly however today I was very disappointed on my short trip to Kroger. I usually greet or say good morning to everyone I see but wanted to see if I needed to be the aggressor or if Kroger employees/venders would be friendly....I passed no less the 10 employees and 5 venders and not one Good Morning, they were working like little beavers but forgot that there job is not filling but taking care of the customers.....the cashier said HI and thank you but it seemed forced at best...very disappointing in our times that our "home town" store is that overly concerned with cheese, pastries, produce, dog food, beverages, and not people. The old saying is "the fish stinks at the head" could this be true of there store or senior management.

This store was a nice shopping experience. The staff/workers were very helpful, friendly and eager to please. The prices are reasonable and the goods are of excellent quality. I will return to shop more at this Kroger.

Kroger is offering 4X points on their gift cards these days. That means for every $100 you spend on gift cards you get 40 off per gallon of. Gas at Shell and their own gas pumps. I buy cards for things I'd be buying anyway.

I'm always delighted to shop at Krogers. There is always someone there to assist me if I have a question or to help me find something I'm looking for, even to check for items that have sold out on the shelves. With the Kroger card loads I find myself purchasing more items that I didn't use to get at Krogers.
