Generals Ice Cream

One of the best ice cream shops especially because it is located along the Wabash Cannonball Trail! Stop for ice cream during a long bike ride. They offer very good old fashioned hard ice cream in a waffle cone for an unbeatable price.

EXCELLENT ice cream! This is a walk up window-give/pay for your order, and wait for it that is handicap accessible. The cool treats were AMAZING and the staff was very friendly! Go and enjoy!

Very friendly service, hard and soft serve ice cream. Location is a big plus, right next to the Wabash Cannonball trail in Whitehouse. Part of a really nice way station on the trail. Open for the 2022 season. Love this place, great ice cream and very friendly service.

A cute little ice cream place. They take credit/debit cards which is nice. It's right next to a beautiful little park and has plenty of space to play or sit outside and enjoy the day. I got a strawberry kiwi slushy which was more sour than I expected, but it was good!

We camp near by and when we treat ourselves this us our go to place. So many options, the PBC (peanut butter cup) as they call it is super tasty and good

So this place is a staple in my family's ice cream stop. The girls are very nice and proficient, and the ice cream is some of the best you will ever have. Prices are a touch high, but for some of the items it is reasonable. Sundays for example are well put together with lots of toppings, which justify the price. Flurries are also a great hit with layers upon layers of goodies! Make sure to tip the girls as they work hard to get those orders out in a timely fashion!!

I highly recommend getting the pumpkin cheesecake flurry before it's too late!!

Generals Ice Cream is a gem. The staff is excellent and the ice cream is always delicious. The portions and prices are very good. Generals always has new things to try. Right on the bike path and next to the park so whether you walk, bike, rollerblade or drive, it is easy to get to.

It's a very small icecream shop right next to a bike trail and a brand new awesome park!
The building is small and air conditioned. There is bar seating for maybe four people, but with the line, it probably wouldn't be fun to sit there. Seems like the seats are mostly used for those waiting in line. There are a couple of picnic benches and several park benches outside, and if you cross the small road, there is a huge covered area with more park benches
There is usually a line, but it moves very quickly because they are always well-staffed and the workers hustle. They serve soft serve, hard serve, and Dole whip (dairy-free and AMAZING). I believe they also sell slushy drinks. I will say, they don't skimp on the toppings. If you don't like a lot of toppings, I'd advise you to ask for them to go easy.
They are priced very well, and you get a lot for your money. We have a family of five, and we generally spend $15 bucks, Maaaaaybe 18 if we are feeling especially gluttonous. I highly recommend this place!

I had an excellent experience when I went here. The staff was very helpful and wanted me to enjoy my experience. The ice cream is the one of the best in the area, not to mention the bang for your buck that you get. All of this was accompanied by a very kind staff as well as a beautiful location to enjoy your ice cream. 10/10 would recommend

I went to Generals with my wife’s family in June, and we were served by a girl named “Jane”. She carried herself very kindly and professionally.

The ice cream was great, and Jane and the other girls made our whole experience very pleasant. I almost asked Jane to explain one of the flavors to me, but I remembered that I should just read the description before I ask her!

A+ experience. Will come again when we are in town.

Great little ice cream place in Whitehouse OH. Just had hot fudge sundae to cool 😎 off today. If you want Orange Dole whip or Carmel Salted soft ice cream Generals have them. During Christmas in July Generals had vanilla, peppermint, marshmallow sundaes.

Drove here from almost an hour away for a first time visit. My wife found the sundaes with cookies in them difficult to eat but couldn't believe how amazing the cookies tasted. I had a medium Peanut Butter Cup Parfait and I'm sad to say I could not finish it. If ever we are in the area again we will be sure to stop. Quite a find.

Used to think Timbos had the best ice cream a round... I was wrong. It's Generals and it's not even close! Portion size is huge, staff is friendly, owner is a great guy, and the ice cream is the best. Can't ask for much more.
