JR's General Store

Same stuff as other Amish stores. Nice good size selection, including products from up in Holmes county. They do have Rada knives. The best knives ever! Produce priced right. Cash and check only. No cards.

Love this eclectic little treasure! You never know what treasures you'll find here on the general merchandise side of the store, from handcrafted items, to furniture, puzzles and candles, among other things. On the grocery side, we love the variety of packaged bulk food items, fresh produce and their very reasonable prices on their large variety of deli meats and cheeses (particularly on their weekly specials). They also have out a table to offer samples of featured products.

The only thing this store left me wanting was to live closer so I could come by more often. A great place to shop for groceries and many quality goods and gifts. This store is much larger than I had anticipated and filled with pretty much anything you could want or need. I especially loved the large variety and great prices for spices and baking supplies. Be sure to bring cash or check to pay for your (sure to be) many purchases.

Really cool, Amish owned and operated store. The main store has so much, it's almost overwhelming, when you first walk in. You could honestly spend hours, looking at all the goods in the store. Then, they have food, baking supplies, spices, candies, and a lot more, in the back half of the store. Prices are reasonable. So you're prepared in advance, they only accept cash, or checks. No credit cards. Definitely worth the trip. They really do have more to see, than you're prepared for. Great place to browse through.

I love this store! We live about an hour away, but it's completely worth the drive to get the high-quality ingredients I need to make gluten-free baked goods. Most of their items are more affordable than anything I've found elsewhere.

Always love visiting JR's. We stock up on lunch meat and cheese, spices and our favorite bulk items. Don't forget the fresh butter and produce! Then head up to look at all other interesting items they sell. Recently got a nice bird feeder there too....

Great prices and good quality lunch meats and such a wide variety of cheeses. My hubby really loves the wide choices of hot cheeses they have. Lots of baking items in bulk and fresh veggies. If you out for a drive stop by it’s a cute place to go for a day drive.

JRs is a great place to visit and get some great goods! Some items are fairly priced but some other things are market or overpriced. Worth a visit!

Great chocolate covered pretzels and deli prices and neat stuff. Check it out.

Part of the store has handmade furniture and home decor items. It's more of a gift shop with candles, soap, some clothing, cards, wall decor, etc. The other side is a small grocery store with just about everything. There's even a deli in the back. Great little store.

Nice little store to get some unique items along with many delicious treats and phenomenally fresh produce.

What a variety. From furniture to groceries. I found the food side very fresh and a large selection of hand packaged snacks, nuts and candy.
Meats and dairy were fresh.
Staff was friendly and helpful plus the were quick.
Come prepared because everything is cash only but if you know that then the only problem you will have is what to get

I love this store it's like stepping back in time.

It was a nice family outing. They have lots of bakery grocery items and a very popular deli. The people were very friendly. Go prepared with cash or check because you can't use a credit or visa card there. The closest ATM is about 3 miles (which is what we had to do before making our purchase) Other than that it was a good time. 👍

Very nice Amish store great selection of bulk foods, spices and baking needs. Large selection of lunch meats and cheeses. Fresh tomatoes, potatoes, apples. They have hard to find soda and birch beer. My sis-in-law and I go there at least once a month. They are right down the road from the bakery in one direction and a restaurant/furniture store in the other direction. See ya there!!!
