My family heard about this place from some friends, and we were in the area for other business. Very nice little spot off the highway with decent parking.

Menu was great, with options for sundaes and flights of various flavors. We have a plain vanilla connoisseur that was very happy, alongside testing the coffee, chocolate and fruit flavors. Presentation was fun in glass dishes and a cool wooden pallet for the flight. Won't deduct star but the scoop size is very small, so cost wise pints are better deal.

The seating was very well kept and had a very welcoming outdoor space for large crowds. Even in overcast skies, it was a fun feel.

Since gaining national fame (probably international at this point), there isn't much more I could personally add as a review that isn't already known.
Made with THE finest, most sustainable ingredients, my family is not only honored to occasionally enjoy this special place and all of its handmade delicacies, but to also live about 5 houses down the hill in this gorgeous, quiet little Finger Lakes town.
We have had an interesting experience this summer. Despite living so close, we were only really able to stop by twice this season because sweeping success = incredibly long, well-earned lines. It has been remarkable to see this small stand go with the flow of unexpected fame and make adjustments as needed (closing for an hour to restock, adjusting days open/closed to better prepare for the crowds) to keep providing the very best to everyone who visits from near and far.
Pictured is my personal favorite, the Wide Awake, but there is nothing on this menu that I've not fully enjoyed.

This was our first time at the Spotted Duck and it was so worth the drive. As a family of 6 we got two of the large Seneca flights so we could all have the chance to try all the flavors available. Unfortunately they were out of two of the flavors but they just doubled up on some of the flavors to compensate. The ice cream was so smooth, creamy, and flavorful. They use all natural ingredients and you can definitely taste it. The coffee, blueberry lavender, and spicy chocolate flavors were my favorite but all of them were incredible. The added fun part was getting to enjoy our ice cream while being surrounded by the ducks, chickens, and a peacock that live on the premises. You can ask for food to feed the animals at no additional charge. We will absolutely be back again. Next time I'm going to bring a cooler full of dry ice so I can bring some pints home.

I think I have had ice cream in every state and abroad but this was unique, smooth, creamy and just plain delicious. Served 4 kinds in glass containers with tray, which is classy, in farm country, you can feed the ducks, bring your dog. Loved it!

This place was quite an experience and totally was worth the 2 hour detour our trip from Boston to Niagara Falls. Their custard was fantastic. I was a huge fan of the "Real Cookies and Cream" and "Vanilla" flavors. I must say, in terms of ice cream/custard, I don't think it gets much, if any better than this. I loved seeing the ducks and enjoyed getting to take pictures there. I would recommend making this a stop on your road trip, even if it is considerably out of the way.

We were able to arrange a pick up of a pint right before the season opening. Go here. This is by far the best ice cream you will ever have. We had the fleur blue, blueberry and lavender. It was out of this world delicious! Very excited to go back for an ice cream flight. 10/10!

A unique experience eatting custard made from Duck Eggs. Gave the custard a richer flavor and texture. We appericated the beautiful view, variety of flavors, care given to details, and the additional parking in the back!

Only downside was the 45 minute wait, but that just speaks to the quality of the food served. 100% would give this place a stop if your visiting the finger lakes.

Incredibly unique experience, with a wide array of flavors to try. Enjoy the farm experience from one of many picnic tables. Occasionally they also have food trucks to offer full meal to go with this one-of-a-kind treat. Worth the scenic drive for sure.

An absolute must when I visit the finger lakes. The ice cream is fresh and creamy. There hasn't been a flavor that I didn't like. Loved all of the fall specials this time, my favorite being the apple pie. Don't forget to stop in the back to say hello to the ducks!

Finally made it to Spotted Duck where people have been raving about for months. I definitely was NOT disappointed after all of the hype. I got four scoops of 4 different flavors and all of them were extremely delicious. The scoops are a very reasonable size, a little larger than a golf ball I'd say, which is perfect if you'd like to try multiple flavors and not have to eat an unreasonable amount of ice cream to do so! They also had 2 different ice cream flights, one with 4 scoops, and one with 12 scoops so you could try all 12 flavors. Extremely reasonable prices. Their outdoor seating was very nice, lots of tables, and beyond the seating, you could see their ducks, chickens, and peacock. Very fun!! The line was long, but went very quick. It's clear that their workers are efficient as well as friendly. I can't wait to go back again and bring a cooler so we can bring a pint or two home.

Delicious custard! They have so many fun flavors that rotate seasonally. Many flavors are gluten free. I really love the flight options so you can try all the flavors!

The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere is fun and family friendly.

They have ducks!! Enjoy your custard and enjoy watching the cute ducks.

There’s plenty of parking.

Wow! What a great ice cream experience! There were a total of 11 of us that came to the Spotted Duck for ice cream…ages ranged from 10 to 72. We all got different flavors and they were all unique and delicious! My favorite was the Chocolate Mud (chocolate & jalapeño). They offer flights of ice cream that were too fun to pass! Staff was very friendly. We got a kick out of seeing the spotted ducks and chickens! Absolutely loved this place!

It was great, 12 flavors, sadly one was gone for the day. We got the 12 flavor flight (doubled up on one flavor) and we're not disappointed. Best non-dairy ice cream I've had. The custard was awesome definitely in the top best ice creams! The farm was cute. My only suggestion would be to have some kind of water station for guests.

Got the 8 scoop flight and had to go for seconds. Fleur Bleu is nothing like I’ve tasted before. And great place in the back to sit and enjoy your custard. Totally worth it.

We went camping nearby just so we had an excuse to finally check this place out. The place was SO busy and totally packed! I was glad to see it- that's always a good sign. This was no exception. The gelato was rich and creamy, and they had a nice selection of flavors. I will admit, I could not tell the difference between non-duck egg and regular chicken egg gelato, but the quality was top notch. I recommend getting a flight so you can try a bunch of flavors. There are plenty of birds on the property you can feed and watch, fenced off to the back so you are not bothered while enjoying your treats.

OMG...Great custard! Flavors are wonderful! We stopped here while in the area at a few wineries. My husband and I ordered the flight of 12 flavors. There was a scoop of each. It was a great way to taste most of the flavors and they even let us substitute one for a different option. There is a nice size outdoor area to sit at with many ducks and a few chickens in a penned area. They even had restrooms! I wish I lived closer. It would definitely be one of my regular places to get a treat.

Great Ice Cream Spot! I have never had a flight of ice cream before. This is an ingenious idea that draws from the 30 plus wineries in the area. Now I like flavors that I may not have tried before. The Blueberry Streusel was delicious, the Caramelt was the perfect mix of caramel and vanilla, and the cookies and cream is amazing as it was mixed with homemade cookies from the owner. The Java Junction was a bit gritty for my taste. I will be back again and again to try them all.

We heard about Spotted Duck from YouTube video. Totally worth the detour from New York to Niagara Falls. This place offers varieties of flavors, aroma and colors. You cannot resist on that lavender hint and their Fleur Blue. Amazing atmosphere with adorable ducks and friendly chickens. Well maintained little spot with delicious custard. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This place was small but very cozy. You order the ice cream in the front and pick it up on the side. They have variations on scoops and flavors as well as flights. You can walk to the back and sit on one of the many benches that are nicely spread out. They also have a farm filled with ducks and chickens you can admire while munching.
Overall peaceful place

The ice cream was amazing! Has a very unique and creamy texture as they use duck eggs. We were not expecting to see all the farm animals in the backyard of the shop as well! You are able to sit next to the ducks and chickens while sitting at a table and having your ice cream. Would 100% go back again. We went 2 days in a row while on a trip!
