The Shoppes At Lafayette

Village Sweets at Lafayette, I can't say enough about this store. If you're looking for hand dipped candy, they have it. It's all fresh, dark chocolate white chocolate or milk chocolate. Along with an assortment of all other candies, you can pick from. You have to check it out for yourself. You won't believe what they have. It's fantastic, clean, and the staff is very nice. I highly recommend this sweet shop. Is a hidden gem.

We were not shopping but came to Lafayette House restaurant for a late lunch. great meal, phenomenal service

Love this adorable little village type shopping.. all small businesses, lovely shops, personal service.. no self checkout!!! Plenty of parking!! Love hangin by a thread sew shop

We love the Marquis tavern. The French onion soup and the crab cake sandwich is amazing. Service was great. We've been going here for more than 30 years.

I have my photo studio located in the shoppes! I just adore the space, all the cute little small businesses, and the charming feel of the village! It's a great place to spend an afternoon!

Went for the first time in years for the Garlic festival. Had a great time and was happy to see the place is no longer the ghost town it use to be. Seems like alot more stores are rented out. There's a nice antique store and some cool specialty shops. Homemade ice cream and for the festival Czig Meister brewery had a beer garden. Only complaint is the parking is just not enough to accommodate such a crowd. Overall recommend stopping in the Shoppes just think the area would be better off with a couple more options for getting a bite to eat.

Passed by here several times but never visited. Came for the Garlic Festival. It doesn't look like much from the front but the shops are so cute and unique. Walking around was a lot of fun despite the rain.

Walmart only got my nails done I was amazed at how that whole shopping center has changed in the last few years. I'm definitely going back and I'm sure going to get my nails done again there

Absolutely beautiful would recommend coming here. Just very busy durning festivals. But would come again on a regular day

The Lafayette House is still the best place for a family party. The food is awesome and the service is the best

Very friendly and cheerful atmosphere we went to celebrate an 80th birthday and a 79th birthday. A party of 6 we were Very pleased with the service and attitude of the servers Not to mention the food , excellent ! Great experience and wonderful memories made Praise God !!!

This place is very nostalgic for me. I've been coming here since I was a kid. The candy shop is my favorite. Love the laffeyette house/Marques tavern for some French onion soup and the best oysters around. The farmers market is great. I buy pickles and honey here all the time.

Love this place. So glad the new owners are fixing it up after being neglected for years. It's been a Sussex County treasure for years. Hope they attract a great variety of unique little shops & quick eating spots again. I can't wait to see what's in store. Shopping at Lafayette Village was one of the reasons I moved up here 27 years ago.
