I’m not sure if I agree with most of the negative posts. I’ve been shopping at Hoffman Ace for 11 years and never had a bad experience. Great alternative to driving 40 minutes one way.

Like many small town hardware stores, Ace Hardware in Moose Lake manages to fit a impressive array of products into a fairly small store and the employees are very knowledgeable about their inventory.

Extremely friendly service & free popcorn on your way in or out.

I love this Ace. The employees are really great and always there to help you. I inevitably always have a question or feel lost for a moment (I forget what I am shopping for) but they always help me figure it out.
If they don't have something in stock, they will order it for you.
And to top it off, they have a popcorn machine so you can always leave with a snack, what's not to love?

I go here for everything rather than go to the big stores, plus the employees rock!!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Got us everything we needed to tackle a few large projects. Much better experience than Menards or Lowes.

Do not buy their spray paint covers like water. And they will not allow you to return. Sorry lost reciept

Very friendly staff willing to help you find what you are looking for. Helped me find what i needed right away and was greeted with a smile at checkout. Couldnt ask for better service. I would recommend this place to everyone in the are and/ or driving through. Also located right off the highway makes for an easy and quick stop.

The service is top notch! They are proactive, know me by name and remember shopping history. It feels like you are visiting friends! They make you feel welcome and do their best to accommodate you.

Dolly has been able to find a solution to every home repair problem I have brought her. She has also given me great tips on painting.

Very very nice people outgoing Bill (sry abt that lol)Dolly, Dennis great group of people working there their bathroom is handicap-accessible and setup very amazing nice to see that have in and Outdoors so it's a lot easier than having to pull open a door Unfortunately they do not have handicap door button but they are always looking so if they see you they will rush to open the door trust me it's just in their nature strongly suggest if you're in the area and need something this would be the best place to stop also they know a lot about the area around them so maybe if they don't have it or something else you need they can direct you where to find it good luck
