A welcoming and cozy establishment with a friendly and professional staff. They offer a variety of treats and small gifts, and their breakfast is highly recommended.

We tried a few items from the grab and go. The turtle cheesecake was phenomenal! Very rich and creamy, done the right way. The chicken alfredo was one of the best we've ever had and the portion was more than enough for us 2 to share.
We didn't dine in, but while we were shopping, we were approached twice to see if we needed any help. Great customer service, everyone was so friendly.

What a delightful place! The food, people, and atmosphere make such a pleasant dining experience. The breakfast sandwich is excellent but the cinnamon roll steals the show - the best I’ve ever had! I love the little gift shop elements all around the store too.

We can’t talk about this restaurant without mentioning Janna herself. She is a great person and steward for Faribault. She welcomed our large wedding party and treated us to two cinnamon rolls on the house. She made time to talk with us both times we stopped by this weekend. It’s hard not to love this place!

Never had breakfast here before. Super Friendly Staff. The food was exceptional! Cinnamon Roll was to die for. Wow. We will be back. In fact, we decided this is the only place we will be eating breakfast when out to eat. Well Done!

Love Bernie’s! Great food and a small town atmosphere. Lunch and breakfast is served anytime. I love the soups and desserts too. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I found this place while searching for dog friendly restaurants. You can eat inside, on their patio, or grab and go! There were soooo many good options to chose from! I took a long time deciding but ended up with their chicken salad on croissant. It was delicious! Salads, wraps, sandwiches, soups, desserts and hot options as well. We ended up taking our stuff to go and had a picnic at the Nerstrand Big Woods State Park! I highly recommend!

Bernie’s grill is a great place for breakfast and lunch. They seem to be doing well. There was a line to wait to get in Sunday morning. Everything I had here was delicious. The clubhouse sandwich was great, but a bit odd without any ham. Or cheese. But it was delicious anyway and each place is allowed it’s own take on the CH sandwich.

I saw someone else eating the biscuits and gravy, so I ordered that also. The biscuits were good, a little small though, but the gravy was delicious. Plenty of it also. Very peppery as biscuit gravy is supposed to be.

They didn’t have soup for my clubhouse sandwich, it was too early, soup starts at 11, so I ordered a salad. This salad was great. Not just lettuce pulled from a bag. Sliced tomatoes and green onion stems. Impressive for a side salad.

My wife had some potatoes and really liked them.

If you can get in, the food I had was worth the wait. Next time I’m in Faribault, I’ll be ordering a couple more things off the menu. Great food. Friendly atmosphere. Really an enjoyable meal. Thanks!

We drove 7 min off the interstate to get a healthier lunch and it was so worth it! The town is cute, and this cafe was a star. The main reason for the 5 star review is Andrew. We walked in with a 2 crying toddlers, and he immediately greeted us and gave an abbreviated overview of how ordering worked, directed us to the seating area and offered to bring our toddlers some fruit right away. He then, unprompted, brought us 3 books from their shop area to help entertain the kids, and offered we could borrow anything we need/want from the area. Wow! He looped back around to make sure we understood how to order; it’s definitely hard to think when a 4 year old is crying in your ear. Over the course of our meal, he was so attentive and helpful, anticipating our needs and offering help any time he sensed we needed it. What’s incredible is: this is not a place with wait service!!! It’s self-serve at the counter. I am blown away with the customer service. The food was good, exactly what we wanted (not standard grease-bucket fare, lots of fruit and fresh greens, delicious), and the shop area had some super cute stuff, but Andrew made the stop worthwhile. I only wish I could’ve tipped him directly!!

Everything at Janna's was delicious! I love the option to just grab and go or to order hot food. This will definitely be a spot I return to

Getting lunch is so quick, easy and healthy, which is hard to find. I’m always welcomed with great customer service, wonderful locally sourced food and great prices. Janna’s is a great allergy friendly place that has something for everyone in my family including my dogs.
