Mocha Monkey

Mocha Monkey in Waconia is one of my favorite coffee shops. At my most recent visit, I enjoyed a cinnamon chip scone and a hot Zebra Mocha. My husband loved his large, hearty bowl of Chicken Alfredo Soup with tortellini and cheese. Mocha Monkey serves their food on handmade pottery which can be purchased. Our visits are always a charming experience! ❤

Always great place to get large selection of beverages. They have ice cream all year and large variety of foods like Quiche,Cuban sandwiches. Always friendly and welcoming staff. Lots of places to sit upstairs or down to work, play games, read paper, relax etc. Best coffee shop in town.

Cute local coffee shop right off Main St in downtown Waconia. I got a red tea latte and it was delicious! Prices are reasonable, baristas were super friendly. The logo is fun and the owner knows it--there's ton of fun merch as well!

Awesome local coffee shop in Waconia. Lots of cute decor, mostly from local artists. Pottery and other items for sale. Delicious drinks, smoothies, snacks, sandwiches and Ice cream! The staff is always super friendly!

This is a great place! My favorite is the Zebra Mocha or better yet, a Peppermint Zebra Mocha! My favorite sandwich is a Southwest Organic Chicken. It's so good!

Very awesome place. I have been coming for about 4 years now and it's very awesome. Coffee is very good. Break sandwichs however, are kinda meh. Prices are very good compared to Caribou/Starbucks

Huge selection of specialty coffees, hand-made pottery mugs if you dine/drink in, pleasant atmosphere with lots of seating for meetings, coffee dates, or working. Although the specialty mochas and coffees are amazing, so is the plain old light roast drip!!

Had coffee here today! Was great! Also a breakfast sandwich that was definitely homemade not pre packaged. Great atmosphere and friendly staff! My vanilla latte was super tasty!

I'm putting this place in my top coffee houses. The scone, coffee and ambience was tops in my book. I usually visit the cities once or twice a year -- this coffee shop will be a 'must visit' on my itin!

I was at the local fairgrounds for an event in the morning, but was missing my morning coffee! The Mocha Monkey was conveniently located right on my drive home. They were really fast with my order, made a great cup of coffee that hit the spot, and sent me back on the road as happy as I could be!

It's a great coffee shop in a great city! Low key atmosphere with awesome handmade mugs. Delicious food as well! You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't try a banana chocolate chip muffin with your coffee.

Excellent atmosphere to sit down with a drink and talk to other people. They feature art for sale from local artists.

Tons of open space, especially on the second floor, and the menu is quite extensive. The barista was really friendly and our drinks were delicious.

Gotta love a coffee shop that serves up lovely coffee in handmade ceramic cups and serves their nice nibbles on real plates as well.

We have our Bible study here on Wednesday morning.

Love Mocha Monkey! The coffee is top-notch, as is the service. The barista's are always pleasant and work quickly to get you your caffeine, which is always appreciated:) The atmosphere is perfect for a good catch up with a friend, there is more space to sit than you think! There is an upstairs that has more tables and chairs, though I prefer sitting by the fireplace. When in Waconia, be sure to swing in!

Mocha monkey is and always has been an excellent shop to visit whether you go alone or with friends. The staff are kind, approachable and very knowledgeable. The seating is comfortable and the mood is relaxed, even at their more busier hours. Their food and drinks are amazing and the art you see throughout the whole building is mesmerizing.

I highly recommend stopping for some Gelato on a hot day or some hot chocolate on a cold afternoon.

This is definitely a destination stop if you are in the Waconia. Cozy,great drinks,coffee and smoothies as well as free wifi!

This is my favorite coffee shop ever. They have delicious coffee, so many specialty drinks, and a beautiful location. The staff are always so friendly. I love going here with friends to do homework or just hang out and get some coffee.
