We have had multiple experiences with Ridgeview Medical Center, some serious and some not so serious. I have also been there to visit people. All very positive experiences. I also had health insurance (reading some of the reviews directly under mine, yikes) and never had a problem billing or payment. They make it easy to pay online. The most important thing is they know what they are doing. Solid doctors. Great Nurses. We have had multiple experiences, and they have all been very positive.

I recently had a procedure at the Ridgeview Medical Center Specialty Clinic. I am impressed by their level of professionalism and courtesy. The staff were respectful and accommodating, adding a personal touch to their excellent care. The procedure itself was executed with efficiency and professionalism. I am grateful for the high standard of care provided at Ridgeview, and I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of specialized medical services.

This is the best hospital to have a baby at. The Larger rooms, better/cleaner showers, and secure entrance provide a better experience. Easy parking for visitors. All the nurses were pleasant.

The staff there obviously care about your well-being and making sure you get the care you need. My trip to the ER was on a busy night (took three hours to get back to a room) but once in a room things moved quickly and though busy the ER provider, nurse, and ultrasound tech never made me feel like I was wasting anyone's time.

I've had stellar treatment every single time I've been hospitalized at this facility. I've had 3 lithotripsy procedures related to kidney stones. Thankful for the nurses and all of the staff. My daughter gave birth in 2019 and had great experience with the MD and the nurses there as well. The baby was placed for adoption. The RN that cared for her was incredibly compassionate and truly made the experience feel "warm".

Had all 3 of my babies at this hospital. Been to the E,R on more then one occasion. My daughter had an emergency at school last week. Had to be transported by ambulance. The EMT's were great! The staff at the hospital were efficient and kind. Loved the RN on duty! Our PA-C wasn't the friendliest but did her job well. The gentleman who did our daughter's EKG was great! Funny and super nice. Nothing in life is perfect but the care I've received at this hospital has overall been great! I am grateful.

Single mother of 3 year old twins and we have visited the emergency room a couple of times the last few years. One time because of a febrile seizure. (Scariest moment of my life.) The paramedics, nurses, and whole staff were great. They kept me calm and also kept entertainment for the twin that wasn’t sick. They showed that they cared and made sure I felt comfortable going home before we did.

I had an emergency appendectomy at Ridgeview Waconia Campus. It was a great experience. The staff were kind and patient with me. From my first appointment with my doctor to find out why my stomach hurt at 3:20pm until I was home and recovering at 11:30 the same evening, it was as effortless as I could imagine a surgery to be. Very little pain and I was even able to go back to work the next day. I only wish I had remembered to ask them to save the appendix :).

I had a minor surgery recently at Ridgeview and it went really well. I was so impressed by the surgical prep team, Anesthesiologists, etc. They were very friendly and personable. The phlebotomist was exceptional. She did an incredible job on my hand IV!! This is hard to do and can be very painful.

I have had three out of my four babies at Ridgeview Medical Center and each and every experience was a dream. From the doctors to the nursing team, everyone was upbeat, friendly, and very informative. They listened to my questions and answered all of them with passion and precision. Highly recommend!

We are very grateful for the care we received during and after the birth of our daughter. Dr. Baudoin for prenatal care was always thorough, kind, and patient- allowing our son to partake in checking fetal heart tones at appointments making the transition to two more understandable for him. We were bummed she didn’t end up delivering since she wasn’t on-call when my wife into labor, but we’re so appreciative of Dr. Ou-Yang’s excellent care during delivery. Not to mention the outstanding nursing staff (Niki, Kim, Jean, Tracy to name a few.) Dr. Mohling on the pediatric side also wonderful to see rounding while we were there who has taken wonderful care of our firstborn as well.

Lastly, the lactation consultant team is second to none. Julie is an incredible asset to the organization - patient, knowledgeable, and very thorough. The floor was hopping with multiple births yet she made us feel we were her only patients and put my wife very much at ease- she even grabbed a burp cloth to wipe my wife’s tears after having some post-delivery pain. If planning to breastfeed, would highly recommend utilizing this team as an excellent resource.

Again we are very grateful for the support and care received by all team members during our stay!

In Feb 2015, I gave birth to my daughter and I could not have asked for a better birthing experience. The staff was absolutely amazingly kind and supportive. After 24 hours of labor, I had to have an unplanned c-section and this hospital made it a seamless process. We truly loved our Western OB/GYN staff of doctors too! My daughter had to stay in the NICU for 3 days and the staff was the best at caring for our daughter!
In Jan 2016, I had to have emergency gallbladder surgery and I had great care then too.

My wife spent 3 days at Ridgeview in Waconia as an emergency patient, arriving near midnight. They did exploratory surgery the next morning and the surgeon continued to drop in each morning afterward. We were very happy with the facility, the staff and the treatment. In particular the nurses were all angels and each one seemed very competent. I even enjoyed the cafeteria food! They have specialists available who continued to see my wife after discharge to make a final diagnosis. Highly recommended!

We had to say goodbye to my dad on Monday 10/22/18 in the ER at RMC. This had been a nearly year long journey through the RMC system from the Ridgeview Chanhassen Clinic (special thanks to Dr Harter and Anna they continually go above and beyond) 212’s Urgent Care, a weeks stay at RMC, Home Care visits, Office visits to MHI, Dr Larson and Margot in Pulmonology, Pulmonary Rehab, Audiologists (he was very hard of hearing, imagine being hard of hearing and navigating all of this), Dr Kallestad (Palliative Care) and Hospice Care Team, the RMC Ambulance team and the RMC ER staff.
I can’t say enough about the kind and compassionate care he received across the system. Aging is hard. The process of one’s once healthy, strong and vital body gradually deteriorating is emotionally challenging and humbling. Through it all my dad (and us) were treated with the upmost dignity and respect.
I want to voice how exceptionally grateful we are for Dr Kallestad’s palliative care and his recommendation/referral to Hospice Care. Which began in July 2018. I knew that Hospice Care was a special service but I had no idea just how special. They offer so much! I wish more people understood the scope of the care they offer. It doesn’t mean that death is imminent it means that the condition is not curable but may not take a life for months. RMC’s Hospice Care helped prepare and walk dad and mom through the process. They lightened the load substantially with their care but even more by being there to guide them and answer mom and dad’s ongoing questions. He had an excellent team: Pam (Social Worker), Heidi (RN), Gina (massage therapist), Debbie (volunteer), Pastor Helmar. They are amazing people...truly angels.
Now the ER experience. We encountered more angels there on Monday. Although, we knew dad was going to die sometime we did not expect him die on Monday we were prepared for a slower process. He was playing a lively game of cards with us on Sunday evening. He woke up alert with what we thought was a urinary tract infection. We ended up taking him to the ER via ambulance because a UTI is treatable right.?.? However, He had fallen asleep before we’d called 911 and he never woke up. The staff in the ER were so gentle, kind, respectful and patient. Death is hard, but they helped us all say goodbye to dad in the most loving way possible. They gave us the support and time we needed. It is a memory that I personally will cherish the rest of my life. Thank you to Pam (ER RN) for the big comforting hug when I told her that dad had passed. I had been hugging family all day but the hug from a total stranger meant so much...knowing people care is priceless.

All of the doctors and nurses I have come in contact with here have been so wonderfully attentive, caring, and willing to make me comfortable in any way possible. I also delivered my daughter here and will definitely have any of my future children here as well! My questions are always answered and any discomfort was addressed right away! This is the best hospital I've ever been at.

I utilized to emergency room today and couldn't be happier with my experience! My nurse, and doctor were fantastic listeners, had A+ bedside manners and were thorough in regards to tests run. I had a ct scan and the staff that assisted me there were also very friendly. I arrived today feeling extremely ill, and left feeling incredibly better. I am so grateful for the care I was given today, everyone was wonderful!

Whenever I have to go to emergency it is always Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. We actually have an emergency unit right in town and are closer to another hospital than this one BUT I always feel well cared for and that the staff has my best interest in mind. I have never had a problem with the billing department sending my bill to the insurance company. Great staff in every department!

Our experience with the birthing unit at Ridgeview Medical Center was outstanding, excellent, phenomenal! I can't say enough good things about giving child birth at this hospital. From the nurses to the front desk to our Midwife. Shawn Johnson (midwife) has delivered both kids for us in the last 2 years and she is the best in the business for sure. Christy Jarlets was our nurse and I have to say she was more than accommodating and personable. I can't even express to the full extent how above and beyond this team goes to make sure your experience is an unforgettable one and I guarantee they will have you coming back for all your pregnancies. 5 stars all day to the moon and back! Excellent excellent excellent service. I own a business myself and I know how rare it is to find a service like this so make sure you go to Shawn and make sure you use Waconia Ridgeview Medical Cemter!

Thanks again for everything! Get these women a raise! They deserve it!

I was hesitant to come in because I had a lapse in my insurance that I was still working out, but I was encouraged to come in to the ER. I ended up being admitted and the hospital staff helped fix my insurance while I was there, which was a huge stress reliever. Unfortunately I have had several hospital experiences and this was by the far the most well maintained and serviced hospital. The food wasn't even that bad! LOL
