TJ's Country Corner

Took a little toodle last summer and stopped by this great country store!
Big variety of sausage flavors to choose from.
Plethora of cheeses, snacks galore, drinks (alcoholic n non alcoholic) and surprisingly they have some 'SHINE!

Live music was playing while I was there and there's a park across the road.

It sure feels Country! Gas station, just 2 pumps, little grocery store with a very nice meat selection! Looks like meat comes from the butcher shop:). A few souvenirs. Yep, this place is a Country Store! The woman at the register (owner maybe?) was sweet as pie too! Loved it!

TJ's is a really cool little store, the likes of which is extremely rare today. There is a large selection of chocolates and other candies, sold by weight, which the customer scoops into a bag for purchase. That is in addition to sodas, condiments, packaged foods, etc. I was only there for a couple of minutes, but I'll be going back soon for a better look.

I don't usually review gas stations, but this is a great country store. Got routed through here omw up to the boundary waters and was pleasantly surprised by the cute shop when I pulled in for gas! The fresh, in house butchered meats were exactly what we needed for our outdoor adventure! Please swing by, sign the guest book and support this lovely establishment

You don't always feel like cooking. They have great chicken pot pie here that is perfect for that very occasion. And while you're eating that, maybe you get to thinking, I should devote more time to my Christian puppet ministry. Who knows. It's your mind, I don't know what kind of weirdness goes on in there. Just eat the pie and leave it at that.

Best Country Corner Store around. Sweet and Heat Snack sticks are the best. The owners are an awesome local family. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

This place sells the best chocolate milk I've ever tasted. Cass clay Swiss chocolate milk. 😍 Glad I don't have to go to North Dakota to get it now!

Absolutely love this place from the car shows to the hand scooped ice cream. I go back every time I'm going thru Mahtowa. Keep up the excellent work.

Best jerky in the area. Friendly staff. Fresh sloppy Joe’s were good also. I will be back for more🥰

The beat part was the guy working was so helpful!! I love the small town places. I wish I got his name. They didn't have what I needed, and he had one in his truck. The store is cute, they have everything!! But bungee cords. Ha

Great place to get every imaginable flavor of Brat (and even more). All brats are so much more tender and juicy than typical mass brands. Most flavors are surprisingly great, like Philly Cheese Steak, (Caramelized Onion is our new favorite) and lots of other cheese variations. Some not so great in my opinion, Chorizo - was kind of dry. There are also some very weird flavors that we will never try, but we will keep coming back for the good ones!

Went for the rat rod show always a great time. So many cool built rides. If you have any interest in cars trucks or bikes you check it out next year.

I walked into the store not expecting it to be so wonderful! The store is very well stocked with food items that are displayed beautifully. I especially loved the whole made ice cream! I just had to get a ice cream cone. It has a real country store older feeling.
