Very friendly camp. Many we talked with are long time return visitors. Built by the Army Corp of Engineers with a dam and Gull Lake. We arrived the day after a heavy rain, and the camp was in good condition even though there was a lot of water on neighboring roads. Truly want to visit here again!

Great campground. Really taken care of. 50 amp only no water or sewer. Nice dump station. Potable water located in park. One shower house. Beautiful lake. Narrow roads. Our 44' fifth wheel got in okay.

Really liked this campground. Very nice bathhouse, fish cleaning station and nice park for kids. Fun watching the fish from the bridge. Sites were spacious but a bit tight getting into due to all the trees. Ranger was very nice and helpful. Close to town.

Well situated campsites not too close together and generously sized. Nice level areas for placing tents. Great fire pit with grate. Large picnic table. Rangers were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful campground that is kept immaculately clean by the staff! There are even rakes and shovels hanging alongside the road, so you can clean your own site! The trees are large, so you barely see your neighbors. At night we heard the loons cry and the coyotes yip!

Gull Lake is a pretty cool place. It's $5 to get to the boat launch and the beach. The water was very cold the day we went but it was still nice when the sun was out to cool off. There is also a playground right off the beach. It's not a big beach but it was perfect for the amount of people that were there. By the dam there is fishing and a nice little playground. There is also a campground that you do have to reserve online. They fill up quickly. We stayed for 5 days, it's a very wooded area but you can still see through to the other campsites around you. A lot of mosquitoes. There is a dump station, if you're not a camper it's five dollars.

Nice area for many activities! There is a swimming beach, boat ramp, park, campground, trails, and probably more. Fun to see the big fish at the dam. Trails are scenic, with lots of wildlife. Older park equipment, but still fun for younger kids.

Very Very clean. Campsites, showers, multiple bathrooms, dumping station, canoe launch, play ground and water. Meet and greet when you get there and thats when we met the parks Army Core of Engineer and gave us some reading materials. Thats when she mentioned about the delivery service for fire wood. Will be going back come next summer. It was a little cool on Sunday and Monday our last 2 days and our last camping trip of the year 2020. River was beautiful and colorful. Thanks A.C.E. very well kept. Ps has enough room for a 40' 5th wheel and crew cab trucks. Could even go bigger than that i would think.

This place is super clean. Has power at the sites. Awesome beach and play areas for kids. Bugs are not terrible. They provide ample space and good seperation between sites. Lots of showers. Plenty of parking. Shovels and rakes provided for sites. $5 fire wood is affordable and is made up of slab oak, so it burns longer. Paved paths for walking and biking. Close to a fishing hole. Lots of entertainment nearby if you leave the campground too. Visit Ernies.

Absolutely one of the nicest public campgrounds we’ve been to. Nice, large secluded sites, well kept bathroom/shower facilities, and friendly people. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice campground. Has amenities for free such as laundry and showers. Kept very clean. Would like more privacy from other campsites and more tree cover but it's still very nice. And plenty for families with small children to do. Swimming area and playgrounds are very well kept up. Thanks!

Very clean campground. The hosts obviously take pride in their jobs. Spacious sites with electric. All seemed to be fairly level gravel sites with nice metal tables.

Wow, Wow, Wow, what a GEM this campground is!!!!! We have been traveling for 2 months and this BY FAR is THE BEST campground yet, hands down!! We lived here in the Brainerd lakes area
in the past only miles from this campground and never checked it out but we were happily surprised by it! Fishing is so close, campsites soooo secluded, very roomy, heavily wooded and very private (or at least ours was), bathroom facilities were good and not to far away. Hiking trails are close by, town is super close with everything you might need while in the area which is grea! All in all we can't wait to come back to this campground.... Highly recommend it for sure!!!
