Green Mill Restaurant & Bar

This place is Beyond Great Pizza, it's an Ideal place to go for Italian Cuisine. My Husband and I are Italian and he's a chef too! So, for me eating Italian out, usually not as good as my Husband's Italian cooking. But, O -M- Goodness, The Green Mills Italian Cuisine is superb. I mean Wow, we love everything we've tried so far. 3 different pizza types, Chicago is a favorite and the pasta meals are great too! Mmmm 🤤.

Our first time here and the place is very clean. The servers know the menu and are friendly. Our food came out very hot and like we wanted it. The cheesecake was on par with the best restaurants. My chic parm was the best I've had anywhere, very large piece of real white meat with cheese and sauce on both sides, on fresh chibatta bread. The soup, chic w wild rice was great. They serve fresh baked bread w real butter if you ask for it. We will come back for sure. The manager stopped to chat and she was very kind.

Staff is great, food is great. Beef is local and fresh. Pasta is well prepared and 5 year old approved!
Update: We have been coming here on our yearly trip for 6+ years. Food is always good. Unfortunately they are not dog friendly. Not in the patio or even off to the side. So we had to get it to go. Quality and flavor still excellent. Buffalo chicken is in my top 5 (especially for a chain).

We just ate our order from Green Mill in Alberta Lea, MN. It was just exactly right. We had driven all day and were just really tired. We chose Green Mill from reviews and ordered sweet tacos and garlic linguine to be delivered to our IHG Hotel. It was delivered in a flash! The food was clean, light, flavorful and delicious. Thanks.

Wife and I had spaghetti and meatballs, it was delicious! One serving was enough for both of us and the meatballs were very tender and tasty. Highly recommend Green Mill restaurant.

Thin crust pizza, extra sauce, green olives and sun dried tomatoes, adding artichoke hearts next time. Full bar with great selection of draft beer. Happy hour and Sunday special.

Hidden Gem ALERT!!

You have got to try the Deep Dish Pizza. It’s amazing! The sauce is rich and hearty; it is NOT a sweet marinara sauce like Dominos or Pizza Hut. A large will run you about $20.00 for a one topping and approximately $2.00 for each additional topping. Well worth the price!

Anyway, regarding cleanliness, I give them a 9/10...taste of the food a 10/10...and the quality of the food vs. cost an 8/10. All added up, that’s a 27/30=9/10=90% or an A- I will absolutely be a return customer.

My buddy and I drove in from Arkansas and needed a good meal. We had a couple of drinks. My old fashion with Makers was good and made the right way. We ordered the Windy City Pizza with Italian sausage. When it came out it was piping hot, covered in cheese and extra sauce. I really enjoyed it. Service was spectacular.

I don’t know where to start… but I loved everything about this restaurant. The server was amazing, and so was the food. This was my first time here and both my friend and I really enjoyed everything. Thank you!!!

Great place to go in Albert Lea. Service is top-notch. Food tasted great. We got the Cosmo Deep Dish Pizza, it was awesome! Definitely going to make a return visit!

Great food, great service. The bar staff was very personable. Decent drink specials. Their wings are AMAZING! I had the Jamaican wings, super hot, but with a ton of flavor.

Wednesday spc. (Large 2 topping pizza) added the garlic cheese bread spc.(5 dollars)delivered hot and fresh with special contactless instructions follow perfectly.

This was by far the best pizza I’ve ever had. It was a deep dish meat pizza with the most amazing pizza sauce. This is likewise true about the cheese bread and marinara sauce as well as the bread and this most fantastic garlic butter I’ve ever tasted, and I would add, that it Is much better than I have ever created. It and the marinara sauce are a secret blend, which far exceeds what I have ever come up with. Highly highly recommend this dining experience and food!!! Waiter was wonderful with exceptional prompt service.
I am willing to guarantee that you will not taste another pizza or bread quite like this one!

It was great prompt service i ordered to go and it was done in a timely fashion with geat presentation even in to go containment and tasted amazing. I will be ordering more often especially now that i know they deliver as well!
