County Closet

Love this place! The workers are so nice and always helpful!

Today I was very impressed with the County Closet. The staff were very friendly and helpful with assistance. It's been awhile since I've been there and was very pleased at what I walked into, hoping it continues the kindness and helpfulness with those who come into their place!!!

The emergency needs, and free store is wonderful, a true blessing.
I was in there and the women working were so caring, helpful and working hard to assist many people in the store.

The people that complained about the dresses hanging behind the counter, shameful.
Those are NOT part of the thousands of donated nice items that are free for those in need.
The beautiful dresses were specially made and are only $5.00.
Look in any store and you will not find similar dresses even on sale for less than &100.00. I challenge anyone to try.

The $5.00 fee no doubt goes right to the cause, helping those in real need.

I watched a few times after donating items, while I sat in my car. People smoking cigarettes, a person that tossed a small bottle of whiskey after drinking the last sip, etc.

I purposely watched to see these people come out of store. Some had a few stuffed bags of clothes. 2 had very nice looking items, a baby walker, a wagon, and i saw another time a person leaving with a stereo and something like a play station game thing. Got outside and lite up a cigarette immediately.
I doubt cigarettes are cheap. Money spent on them could buy lots for the family.
I realize that a habit is hard to break. Addiction takes lots of help to gradually make progress.
I am making these comments to the people that complain about the store volunteers that work hard, complain about the store donated items and the very few special items that are only $5.00 and not free.

Go to goodwill, you won't find any of the several thousands of donated items for free.
If people feel that they should get more for nothing, go elsewhere.

This is a God sent store I was so amazed to all the stuff they have a lot better then the goodwill, salvation army they charge way to much for stuff they get free and why? So the owner of goodwill is a millionaire! I just moved here from ft Wayne ind I went there a few times now I valunteire there now love see familys come in be able to find the thing they need for free! We really could use a bigger building do to all the donations we receive! So I pray to God for that if it's gods God's will we will get a bigger place to have more space! I love the girls I been working with Kattie,Sherri, and Wendy,Pauline haven't had the pleasure to work with her yet do to she been off do to foot surgery! May God bless you all!

Love spending time in here, kept clean and nice for customers to browse. The girls that run the place are great! Always willing to help and just all around good people.

My first time going ,and Katie was amazing .she was extremely helpful ,very kind and was amazing all around. Although I would have to go again for myself ,I would recommend this place to any one in need ♡

Great place to drop off gently used items. And they are direct sourced to the people in need!!

The new ladies running it have done an amazing job. It's clean , organized and no longer smells like an ashtray and armpits.

I absolutely love this place and the service they provide our community. They do there very best to make you feel welcomed.

I haven't seen anything quite like this free store! Everything is free!! I was there for hours just browsing ! They are open Tuesday from Saturday
