I loved everything about my experience with Amber. Wedding planning is a huge headache but every aspect regarding design went smoothly due to Amber's attention to detail. We shared a Pinterest board and everything I wanted Amber made sure it happened and WE STAYED IN BUDGET! She also created my brooch bouquet!!!

Amber completely outdid herself with my sister's Alice in Wonderland themed bridal shower! She took my original vision and blew it out the water. Ever since it became real to me that I was getting married, I became over joyed at the thought of having the most perfect day ever. My husband and I was met with adversity in planning our wedding. We experienced a venue taking our deposit and closing one week later and then covid hit and we were unable to start the planning of the wedding. Keeping the faith that we would get married this year no matter what, we reached out to The Velvet Touch Events. VTE’s specialty is planning luxury weddings. They provide beginning-to-end event planning, plus branding and consulting with other vendors who supported our event.

They offered to meet with us virtually to start the planning process. We had 4 months to pull off the wedding of my dreams. In our consultation, we shared with them that we saw the venue online and still had not physically been in the venue or was able to put down the deposit. Velvet Touch Events remained faithful right along with us that we would be able to have the very special day we envisioned. Amber worked with the venue when I didn’t have the capacity to follow up to ensure the space was ready for transformation. She participated in all walkthroughs and worked closely with my day of planner and stationary vendor to ensure the branding of our event was seamless. Her team was extremely professional and worked hard to leave guests with a lasting impression.

The look and feel I wanted was vintage glam. I communicated that I wanted a jewel tone wedding and Amber and her team played up on the colors and textures giving us a regal experience. Her team planned down to the smallest details and made sure no stone went unturned. The overall look of the wedding told of story.
To say that I would recommend The Velvet Touch Events is not enough. I recommend working with a company that is professional in carrying out the plan and creative in planning events that is forever memorable.

Amazing!!!

Unprofessional….I paid for an enclosed arch canopy for my wedding, I received an open square canopy. I reached out after my wedding to find out why there was a mix up and to request decor photos that the designer had taken. All attempts for contact were ignored until I left a negative review. There was no attempt to make it right or explain (I would have been willing to change my review if she had), instead she threatened to sue me for leaving her a negative review. Also, part of my deposit was taken by my venue, the stated reason was that velvet touch events showed up late to break down causing venue staff to stay longer. She has pretty flowers but so do a lot of other people. I wouldn’t recommend.
