Harbor Town is quiet and comfortable during the weekdays. On the weekends it's a family extravaganza with games and prizes for the little ones!

This campground is much cleaner than I've found at others. You won't find trash on the ground or dirty washrooms here!

While at the pool a staff member brought in disposable cups to a group of adults drinking from glass bottles(prohibited at the pool). Her enforcement of the rules was outstanding thanks to her delicate professionalism.

My family experienced **Zero** issues in our 2 month stay.

Thank you Harbor town!

My wife and I just spent Friday to Monday here and we were very pleased! Very clean upper class camp resort at reasonable pricing. The staff at check in were very pleasant and prepared for our arrival. awesome pool and clean showers, bathrooms. we didn't take advantage of any other things offered on this trip.
This place is nicely situated off I75 and 30 to 40 minutes to Detroit area and Toledo zoo. Cabalas is less than 20 minutes away in Dundee. We had a premium pull thru site #120 close to the back which was perfect.
We are from just across the border in Ontario and the 1.5 hr travel as long as the border is not busy is great.
Looking forward to our next time there.

Very nice campground.
The staff is very welcoming and make checking in very easy.
The facilities were always clean.
The only downfall is the amount of trains that go by during the night and the traffic noise from I-75.

Harbortown is one of our families favorite resorts when traveling. The customer service is excellent with family friendly activities and amenities. The grounds are always well maintained and its very reasonably priced.

Easy to find , super packed , empoylees are very kind in the Shoppe . its cute they put on a disco for kids or a dance party . the problem is the space everyone is up each others butts and when their is a nosey neighbor its awkward ! The price is a little too high for the inconvenience of having ppl on top of you . they give you option to pop up tents too and thats not practical with how close some lots are . also people who bring their dogs need to clean up after them better and watch them . probably will not be back .

We love to come here. 2 weeks ago was our 3 year in a row in June. Had to extend our stay throughout the day on Sunday without any trouble for an extra 20.00 till 7pm. Bath house was clean. Staff has been nice and not seen very often. Never been told to be quiet or any issues with staff. Nice grassy sites with gravel pads. Have had pleasant experiences.

Harbortown was a great experience with lots of activities for all ages! Extremely clean and sites were very comfortable. The staff was stellar, extremely friendly, organized, knowledgeable and went above and beyond making our stay a 5star! I spoke with Jennifer who clearly stood behind Harbortown’s standard of excellence! Nothing but great things to say about our stay!!

Even though it’s bad for their business, reading the most preposterous, yet hilarious one star review comments for this campground has become one of our family’s favorite pastimes. It provided us with hours of entertainment while by their fabulous pool (which was very clean!). We stayed from Wednesday night until Sunday. Every one of the staff members we interacted with was incredibly lovely. The bathrooms were clean. My daughter had the best time riding her bike all around the campground and on the trail here.

It’s not a state park. It’s an RV resort. Just like when you book a site at a KOA, you expect the sites to be smaller and people to be packed in. Depending what site you get, you might have a crammed in spot amongst other campers or you might get a nice view of the golf course. That’s rv camping.

There are train tracks directly next to the campground. We occasionally heard one and it is relatively loud, but never heard it over the hum of our air conditioning unit. They certainly did not run all night long and we stayed for 4 nights.

We unexpectedly picked the weekend of Christmas in July. They offered lots of different activities for the kids, which was an added bonus for my 10 year old. We did have to pay a nominal fee for the craft (and putt putt course) which is to be expected because they are a business, after all.

We will definitely be back again!

Great staff. Grounds are clean. They have go carts, miniature golf, batting cages, huge pool. Laundry room. Sites are large. And concrete sites.

This is a must when we come back home to visit! Although we enjoy camping here right now they have major construction on the South side which will wake you up early at 7:31 am. Beware if you want to sleep in. Otherwise no problem if you don't mind the bulldozers!! We feel it's a little pricey! Pool closed and with just water it was $56.00 a night.

We were supposed to stay one week, and extended for another week. Front desk staff and grounds crew does an awesome job.

Here is the lowdown on camping amenities:
Full and Partial hookup available
Pull through and backend
Showers available
Clubhouse
Free Wifi (So-so connectivity)
Free cable
Pool
General store
All kind of sport amenities
Daily/weekly/monthly rates available. The rates are better the longer you stay.

Caveat: Can be hard to book. Weekends are filled with family camping but great fun is had by all.

Harbortown was a great family centered campground. Its located in a nice area outside of Monroe, just off I-75. The campground itself is pretty big, but the sites are on the smaller size. Every site is a pull through which is really nice if you have a trailer/motor home. The amenities are nice, they have a spacious in ground pool, horseshoes, bathroom facilities (which were kept clean), camp store with plenty of essentials, and a small grill with snacky foods. Next door is Go-karts plus, a go kart, putt putt, and batting cages place, which was a lot fun for the kids. It's a separate entity, but the prices are reasonable. Lastly the campground sits right on the mainline for Canadian National and Norfolk Southern that runs from Toledo to Detroit, and trains are running all day and night. I was not particularly bothered by it, but keep that in mind because you will hear the horns at the grade crossing on Laplaisance road which us about 1/2 mile away. Over all we had a great time here and will definitely return!

We love this campground. The staff is super friendly, the grounds are clean, they have a little store, and they offer wonderful family-friendly events throughout the weekend. It is one of our favorite spots to camp. Our kids love it because there are go-karts, batting cages, an arcade (with ice cream), mini putt putt walking distance from the campground. We also love that they deliver wood and ice to your site once you pay for it in the office/store.

Bonus: if you don't feel like cooking Marcos pizza delivers right to your camp site!!

If you're staying for more than a weekend and you need anything, they are very close to a Kroger and Meijer.

This is as close to a perfect campground in all our years of traveling. Priced reasonably with lots of activities including a pool, arcade, and much more on site. We averaged $35 / night for 3 nights for W/E30/I with our Passport America discount ($53 without). Our site was very spacious, sunny and on very level asphalt. There was sufficient room to park our toad and the interior roads were easy to navigate. Internet service was fair.

This campground is 18 miles north of Toledo and 35 miles south of Detroit just off I-75 in Monroe, MI. We visited the spectacular Edsel and Eleanor Ford home and Holocaust Memorial Center.

We loved staying here! We are travelling cross country from Arizona and stayed because we had family nearby and we are so happy we did. The staff was great. We had issues with our cable and a guy came over to fix it and even brought a small tv so we could see if it was an issue in our coach (which it turned out to be). We got wood delivered to our site a couple times and they got right on it. We thought there were going to be too many kids. Turns out that there are a lot lot lot of kids but mostly on the weekends and overall they were really well-behaved and we had fun watching them ride bikes and do stuff that kids should be doing! The laundry is expensive but it's also very clean. The grounds are well kept and facilities are clean. The roads can be a little narrow but doable. We would absolutely stay again.

Nice clean campground. Before anyone gets too turned off by the rug rules, it poured rain as we were getting done setting up, and no mud - keeping the grass up does make a difference! I'd rather sweep a bit of grass, than deal with a muddy mess. Friendly, efficient check in. Lots of activity a bike ride away. And more in town. By far the nicest metro adjacent campground we have been to.
In the few years I've been camping, I've not found a single private campground that doesn't charge for visitors. Neighbors were friendly, pool is the biggest I've seen in a private campground outside of outdoor adventures. Well stocked and clean camp store. We will be back.

Great RV park. Very well organized. Saw reviews with complaints and jusy know with every rule there is a reason for it. Nice walking trail along outside of the park (behind bathhouse) along a golf course. Was sad to hear that Ford bought the golf course and will be building on it. Will stay again if back that way.
