On top of the tremendous grief that came after the loss of our father, handling the final funeral arrangements felt a bit overwhelming. However, due to the incredible compassion, professionalism, and guidance of Brian and his staff at Merkle Funeral Home, the process and decisions went smoothly without any stress. Brian and his staff handled every detail with the utmost care and respect, from the thoughtful way they prepared our dad for the viewing, to the slight hand movement at the funeral service to let my sisters and I know when to begin walking behind the casket, to the beautiful way they arranged the flowers. The words Brian shared at the graveside service were so thoughtful, accurate and honoring to our father. After the services, Olivia came to our home with the flowers, the guest list, thank you cards, death certificates, and lovingly offered to any questions and offer and additional assistance. We were quite pleased, with the amount of respect and attention to detail shown us. Our loved one was beautifully presented. The color of the casket would have exactly as my sister would have wanted, as purple was her favorite color. The staff was very professional and accommodating.

My daughter unexpectedly passed away. Merkle helped us so much through the process. We have also used them when my mom passed. Our neighbor recently passed and his family went to Merkle. They liked how my daughter was taken care of. They know its a rough time and walk you through everything at your pace. Never rushing you. Very professional yet caring. Highly recommend Merkle.
