It is only $3.00 per adult to enter. The experience is definitely under priced as you can clearly see how well taken care of the place truly is. The staff are EXTREMELY friendly and caring. The paths are well kept. The animals were very happy! The gift shop is also extremely affordable and fairly priced! Our family and friends had such a great time. The experience was FAR better than we imagined!

This is such a gorgeous park. They offer a few trails, fire pit, playground, butterfly house, nature center, lots of boardwalks, and treetop views.

Great butterfly house with guided photos, wonderful trails. Animals/reptile/amphibians inside extremely enjoyable, nice window views of feeding wildlife. Staff and volunteers had a very feel-good vibe. There was more hiking trails here than most would be able to do in one day. Enjoyed treetop view and other outposts on the trails, including a varied obstacle course kids enjoyed. We were asked to watch out for bugs, yet they didn't bother us at all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Sarett Nature Center! The educational displays and information were all very interesting. We also happened to be there when a beautiful Barred Owl was brought out for us to see and hear about, followed by an impressive Turkey Vulture. These beautiful birds were found injured and are unable to be returned to their natural habitat. They seem to be very well cared for and treated with respect in their role of educating the public. Then we went to the butterfly observatory which was absolutely magical!! It is relatively small but filled with many different types of butterflies. There were two friendly volunteers available to answer questions and explain things and we had as long as we wished to enjoy this very special place. Thank you!!

The absolute most beautiful natural place in southwest Michigan to explore native plants and wildlife. The center itself is incredibly informative and full of animal exhibits.

In the 90s, my elementary school class had a field trip here, and the remarkable presentation and hosting by staff has stayed with me for a lifetime. They had a wonderful exhibit regarding the history of Potawatomi tribes in the area, including a teepee campsite.

I have returned many times over the years with family and have thoroughly enjoyed hiking along the trails. I love it so.

Beautiful place to spend time with your family in the outdoors. There is an awesome playground in the forest that my kids really enjoyed! Also a creative obstacle course for older kids! Nice trails and breathtaking hikes on the boardwalk that connect you with nature. Awesome sky bridge with nice views. The nature center is clean, educational and has friendly staff. Highly recommend!

This park is absolutely beautiful. You get a little bit of everything in the trail, woods and hills, flat grassland with flowers and trees, and cool wooden risers in heavily wooded areas. I spent about 3 hours walking the trails and hit everything in that time. I recommend going in the summer when the vegetation and wildlife is thriving. Tons of biodiversity, birds, flowers, mushrooms and other small animals.

A magical place. Nature preserve with miles of trails, butterfly house, playground, and nature center with exhibits, animals, and bird watching area. A must see.

This organization has been doing community engagement with schools, scouts and kid groups for decades with an amazing mission of preservation and education.

This is a great place to bring younger children to introduce them to the outdoors experience. The trails are well marked with winding paths and points of interest throughout.

Sarett Nature Center offers numerous trails to hike. The nature center itself also has several nice introductory exhibits. The exhibits feature local wildlife found on the center property sensibly displayed. The trails feature walks on the lower portion of the property by the water. The upland trail goes through both the forest along with grassy areas and wildflower prairie areas. The boardwalk into the forest canopy offers a great experience. Some of the areas can get a little buggy, so be prepared.

Love that there ate so many places to explore and I can just wander and get lost. You can find and make the trails as difficult as you want. Beautiful views

Such a beautiful place to spend an afternoon. Between the indoor areas with bird watching, kids room, and live reptiles to the beautiful trails that are very well maintained.
The skydeck is absolutely amazing to walk across the review across the beautiful woods.

FYI: turtles have butts too, reference the picture.

This is a good place to take a nature walk and see the marsh and the animals they have. The butterfly area is very well kept and full of all different kinds of butterflies. Very kid friendly and plenty to do for the little ones.

Beautiful hikes for very reasonable amounts. Lots of trails and lots of intersections so you can easily choose your own adventure. Very heavy bug activity so make sure to prepare for it!

Great place to walk, kid friendly, interesting reptile house: turtles, snakes and frogs. Observation window to view wide variety of birds visiting feeders. Interesting collection of locally discovered arrowheads and primitive tools. Nice place to introduce kids to the outdoors, plants and animals living in the wetlands, forest and prairie.

Beautiful park with really thoughtfully maintained trail system. The overlooks are stunning. There is a nature center with restrooms. Trails are mostly doable by any hiking level. Walking the entire park would likely take you around two and half hours. Entrance fee (in Nov 2020) is $3. This park is an absolute must. Would be fine for small children and older adults. My favorite route is taking the low land trail out and the upland trail back.
