Pecatonica River Forest Preserve

Came to see the solar flare northern lights. Great vantage point.

Great forest preserve. We rented out the entire pavilion for our camp after our 10 mile hike. Also had 5 miles of paths at the preserve. Paths could have been taken better care of.

I took my kids fishing here many times over the years. When the kids were grown my wife and I would relax and fish for hours just enjoying the great outdoors and each others company..

Was here as part of the Boone Winnebago Farm Bureau Tractor Trek. The grounds were clean and very welcoming. Decent facilities.

Very well taken care of park. Ranger was very friendly. Had a very good time camping with boys.

It's a beautiful quiet spot. I just wish there were better directions to the marked trails. It's fun to explore, though!

Very nice area!!! Had a nice hike along the river and saw 7 eagles and a big buck!!!

Great for camping. But be warned, when the wind blows just right you can smell the pig farm.

Beautiful place, great for kids, reunions, walking trails, playground enjoyed my visit.

Gorgeous spot to hang out and enjoy.

Another great Winnebago county forest preserve.

Saw huge squadron of pelican and a few days later a huge flock of storks.

Eventually boating lanch got out from the water.

Beautiful scenery and quiet.
