First time and it won't be our last.
I was greeted by Don and his staff, all friendly. They showed me the pizza before I took delivery. Nobody does that. A traditional hand tossed crust, the sauce was perfect, not overly sweet, toppings were generous and it wasn't swimming in grease. Some say it's pricey, I felt they're competitively priced. Over all a great pie!

Great pizza and service. The owner is all about making sure you have the best experience and greatest flavor. They have indoor dining now. Food is great and crafted well to taste amazing.

Update: I admire the combination of options and the creativity that the Chef has created in the menu. If you have some diet restrictions they can accommodate you. If you are looking for something vegetarian they have a wide range of meat substitutions. You want to create your own pizza go for it! I love their crust, I love the service that they provide. The thank you when you pick up the the pizza in person, to the friendly and fast delivery. Recently tried their Adobe Blue Pizza, which brought back some Filipino flavors. It was a hit. All.around great pizza, great service, and healthy options.

Mr. D and his winged crew never fail. The special 747 pizza was delish as were the garlic knots and wings. Thanks for allowing us to eat well during another Super Bowl

They have great sandwiches, I had a BLT it has arugula, tomatoes, cheese, bacon, and special sauce. It was awesome I will be ordering that again. If you have a problem with your order they will make it right. They are very nice and friendly, can’t wait to go and try their pizza’s

This is our favorite SW Michigan New York style pizza! I'm a native of NYC and environs and have some very strong opinions as to what constitutes good NY pizza. Barnstormer's is about as close to my ideal as I can find here in MI. It has the right combination of crust style and thickness, tart-tomato-olive oil drizzled sauce, and cheese (although I always request light cheese) that is oven-fired to a just right doneness.

Barnstormers has the best pizza in St. Joseph Michigan. Their quality is always top-notch, the owner and his daughter are always very friendly, and I just plain love the taste. They have been a reliable Pizza for my family for more than a year, and always my first choice in this area. Order from them, you will not be disappointed!

I always appreciate Don and his team! I’ve always had such a positive experience, especially regarding the customer service. Last night I ordered just a simple plane plane (cheese pizza). They threw in free brownies and a sample slice of this months “pizza of the month” (which was amazing). I couldn’t believe it 🥹 so kind! I’m also impressed with the vegan options they have. Don has assembled such a great team. And he really cares about the quality of the food. Great experience!

Barnstormer pilots were bold, daring, and unique…just like the pizzas at Barnstormers Pizza in St. Joseph, Michigan.
We snacked on some “Loaded Hangar Fries” to start. A full pound of crispy oven fries was smothered with cheddar & mozzarella, bacon, green onion slices and a drizzle of ranch dressing. It was like a loaded baked potato, but with the added crisp of fries. They were “oven” fries, so I was practically eating healthy. ;)
Our first pizza was the “Control Tower,” which was described as “The Boss of the Airfield.” It was piled with ingredients including pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, sausage, bacon, ham, banana peppers, green peppers, red peppers, black olives, and spinach. The pizza was not only visually beautiful with all the bright pepper colors, it was also delicious. I’d never had spinach on a pizza before, and I loved it!
Spinach on a pizza is a little daring, but sweet pickles on a pizza is bold and wildly daring! The “Crazy 8 Cubano” pays homage to the Cuban sandwich, with its Carolina Gold BBQ, mozzarella, smoked pulled pork, ham, and finished with sweet and zippy pickles. No way would I have ordered this as a pizza, but I couldn’t stop eating it. The sweet and salty symmetry combined with a wee bit of spice from the pickles, made an addictive combo that had me eating several slices too many.
One of the things that impressed me about the pizzas from Barnstormers Pizza & More was the flavor and texture of the crust. Utilizing a process known as cold fermenting, the dough yields a rich, earthy flavor and noteworthy structure. This technique takes time (72 hours to be exact), but the slower the process, the more flavorful the result.
We finished our dining experience with an order of “Cinnamon Knots,” which were a delightful blend of cinnamon and sugar coating a pile of buttery knots of baked dough. The side of vanilla icing was perfect for dunking.
If you love pizza, but your pallet is a little more grounded, you can always create your own pizza or simply order “The Plain Plane”…your basic plain cheese pizza. Plant based alternatives as well as gluten-free and keto-friendly crust options are also available.
Although they do have a couple of tables inside, it is primarily a take-out and delivery operation. Delivery is available in St. Joseph and Stevensville, as well as northern Berrien Springs and the Fairplain area.

Barnstormers is hands down THE BEST pizza in SW Michigan! Our favorite is the Cubano! Great vegetarian options as well! The staff is friendly and fun, service is fast, food is hot and fresh!

Staff are super friendly. Ordered a Tail Dragger and a Wing Walker, both were excellent. The garlic sauce on the Wing Walker surprised me at how good it was, I usually don't like non red sauce pizzas. Can't wait to try there other special pizzas. I ordered online and appreciated that you could choose light bake or dark bake on the pizzas. They also have options for more or less sauce and toppings on their pizzas as well. Their ordering website was top notch. Keep up the great work guys.

Yummy arugula topped pesto pizza with balsamic glaze drizzle. Everyone loved it, even the ones who don’t typically eat greens on their pizza :). The garlic cheese sticks were very tasty too, along with the real ingredient garlic butter (as opposed to the fake stuff at Papa John’s). Clearly you get what you pay for!

Barnstormers has always had fantastic and inventive food, but you can find good food anywhere. What you can't find everywhere is the customer service and genuine care each of the people at Barnstormers has for each person who walks in their door. Always exceptionally kind, always courteous, and they always have me counting down until my next visit.

Great pizza! The flavor combinations are wonderful and the crust is fantastic (we always get the hand tossed). We have tried all the flavors and they are all very good. The Crazy 8 Cubano is my personal favorite.
I have had many pizzas all over the country and several other countries. If I could only have pizza from 1 restaurant, I would choose Barnstormers- it’s that good

Good Pizza! We split a large “Full Throttle” pizza with garlic knots. So tasty! Workers here were friendly, and had a positive attitude.
A bonus: There was also a joke on the pizza box that was pretty funny.

I ordered delivery from here two nights in a row while on a business trip. Their wings are to die for. Also had a delicious salad with a basil vinaigrette that was delicious. Ordered take out pizza and cheese sticks to take home to family. Everyone loved it all. Super fresh ingredients, and they are very good at evenly distributing the toppings. I'll be back!

After hearing lots of people rave about the pizza, and seeing that the menu offered several unique flavor combinations, we decided to give this place a try. We went with the Soaring Glider, which starts off with sun dried tomato pesto base. The online order process was easy, the order was ready quickly, and the staff were super friendly. Unfortunately, the pesto just didn't seem to have much flavor (we at first thought perhaps it had been accidentally omitted). The balsamic drizzle was delicious, but there wasn't enough of it to make up for the bland pesto. We called to ask about this, and they offered to make another pizza. The owner himself delivered a Crazy 8 Cubano to us, which entirely redeemed the experience. Super flavorful sauce, big chunks of tender pork, and the pickles were just there right amount of spicy. Overall, a good experience and we got a delicious dinner.

Super good pizza. We ordered the control tower. I didnt think i would care for banana peppers on pizza but they added a little zing which was nice.
