Maggio Truck Center

Broke down on I-39 @ Illinois/Wisconsin state line on a Saturday morning @ 1am. Maggio's took my tractor trailer to their shop and repaired it and I was back on the road in 2 hours! The bill was very reasonable. Would recommend them to anyone. Nick Maggio was the wrecker driver and the one that repaired my truck. Good people.

I'm in a Penske lease, call Penske for service, They didn't have the part. Penske located the part. And arranged for me to talk to Maggio. Expecting horrible customer service, I went into it kind of combative. But the woman on the phone eased my concerns, And we made arrangements to get my truck in and out as soon as possible so I can make my appointments. I was left kind of bewildered because I'm not used to good customer service.

When I arrived the techs on duty, we're very receptive and understanding of my situation and why I arrived late. Yes I arrived a little later than I had told them I would be there. But they still brought me in and took care of my situation in a very quick, safe, professional and knowledgeable way. Again even though I was late.

I am used to giving very good customer service to my clients and people I associate with. I am not however used to receiving the same service in return. But the complete Maggio team did an excellent job and got me back on the road as soon as possible. In fact they were done quicker than I thought. I only wish this was a chain of truck service stops. They would always be my first choice.

Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. They have a McDonald's and a chicken place like KFC only better. They have showers and sunglasses, blankets, T-shirts, souvenirs and phone chargers. They even had cast cars and semis for kids or collectors. Nice and clean.

Maggio is one of, if not THE best heavy towing operation in the surrounding area, all of the techs are super knowledgeable and they have years and years of experience. For load-shifts or towing in general, Maggio is first on our list to call. Highly recommend.

Truck wash does wash hoppers, $70. 8am-5pm, awesome job. Nice big parking lot too!

Great service. Ladie that answered the phone was extremely helpful. Service tek came out to 5th wheel. Helped us get tire off, replaced ,then offered to check pressure on others.

Had a blow out on my semi truck
(Greenway recycling) Curtis came to change it he was super fast and friendly/knowledgeable.great guy made a bad experience better! I hope next blow out he will be sent again.

We had our travel trailer bearings done by an rv repair company. A large reputable one. However, they messed up on one wheel and we ended up needing new parts and them put on, on a Sunday, Memorial Day weekend. We were desperate and stopped here to see if they could help. They didn’t have the part, but we disconnected from our trailer went to Advance in town got the parts and they put them on. They really had to work to get the parts out of the wheel. We are extremely grateful they were there in our time of need.

Best gas prices we could find off I-39 near Rockford. Well lit and convenient in and out with easy access to the highway.

Lots of parking for Semis and Clean restrooms

Had a steer tire come off. Quick response, efficient work, friendly, back on the road in less than an hour and a half.

Had 10 trailers frozen solid. They sent a tech out in a timely fashion, he did a good job and got it done quickly.

From the first call , being towed and fixing my truck a great experience. The price was decent for what was done. I'm not sure what people complain about as my experience was a good one. I will recommend this shop to anyone who is coming through and needs work done or a tow. The people here are knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with.

These guys are awesome. Got me back on road in no time.

Stopped at a nearby gas station for gas and noticed we had a nail in our tire. We found Maggio and went straight there. They got us in immediately, checked everything out, found it was fine, and didn’t charge us anything! 5 stars!

Had the welds on my headache rack fail. Called Maggios. Hector and Gary ( i think) showed up. Had me up and rolling in an hour roadside. They brought appropriate equipment to do the repairs. Had a "CAN DO" ATTITUDE and were quick about the job. They were ROCK STARS in my opinion.

We were traveling from Wisconsin going down south with our 3 kids and our tire started losing air…. At 9pm they got us in there and fixed it in 20 minutes had us out!! So thankful for these guys!! And they were all so kind! Thank you!
