The most authentic it gets in sterling, IL... and they have different salsas and prepared food ready to go. 11/10 recommend

Love this Mexican store always find the best things only found in Mexico or Mexican haciendas. I always buy my Mexican Molina there the best vanilla around the fake stuff is nasty but the Mexican real vanilla rocks!

I shop here all the time. When I need restaurant products (portion cups, gloves, cups, ect.) The prices are fair and I don't have to buy an entire case when I only need a sleeve or two. I'll also stop in when I'm in need of peppers and limes, best in town.
There is a lot of other stuff there. If you need it, they probably have it. Stop in it'll be worth your time.

Everyone in the store is really helpful. Prices are awesome. I'm able to get what I want/need and leave with the appreciation for the simplicity of the shopping experience.

Perfect place to get anything you need to make some amazing food, they accept link which most Mexican stores around here don't, can't beat their prices and quality! I go probably two or three times a week at least everybody is always extremely friendly and understanding

The family who owns and runs El Vaquero is always welcoming and helpful! Mrs. always explains recipes and different ingredients to me when Im stumped with how and when to utilize new and different veggies and stuff!

The owner our a Family business they treat very Good if you're needed anything if they don't got it they will get for you the employee our awesome they make Amazing food if you like to eat inside Restaurants area

Get an authentic Mexican grocery experience as well as the best place to go for phone/electronic repair and prepaid phone service in the sauk valley area with the PhoneDr kiosk located inside the El Vaquero Market.

Tortilla chips by the pound in back. Good selection of pastries and drinks. Mangonada in a freezer near deli area.

Employees are nice. Always a clean store. And smells great too! Not expensive either.

Was my fave spot when I lived there and my fave spot when I come home to visit!
