El Jacalito

We had an absolutely awesome experience at El Jacalito in Sterling! The tacos were outstanding—my wife and I tried a variety, including chicken, steak, and al pastor, all topped with fresh cilantro and onion. The salsa, especially with a squeeze of lime, elevated the flavors to another level. The quality of the ingredients was exceptional, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. We'll definitely be returning for more of their delicious offerings! Highly recommend!

Great staff and great food! The restaurant was shorthanded,but the waitress took care of everyone and made sure we were satisfied with our orders. Definitely coming back! I had the Big Burrito with Birria. AMAZING!

Very good Mexican food tastes pretty authentic I'd recommend over other Mexican restaurants.

Being Mexican, I can tell you the food is amazing and definitely authentic. Ordered the taco birria and my boyfriend had the pollo and mole. My boyfriend and I will definitely come back soon. Highly recommend it. Oh yeah prices are very good for the amount of your serving. I'm stuff!!

Julia made sure that our first time dining experience at this restaurant was outstanding.

The chips and salsa were a sure sign the food would be delicious. I recommend the carne asada plate. The perfect balance of rice, beans, and carne asada.

You guys catered our business after hours for Central Bank and the food was phenomenal!! Alot of compliments! I definitely want to go there:)

Jacalito has moved to a larger space in a beautiful building downtown Sterling. The authentic Mexican food is always amazing with generous portions. We eat here regularly!
