A very fine pub/eatery. Great service, reasonably priced food, concise menu with something for everyone, excellent quality and very flavorful fare. Very personable staff. Highly recommended with one exception: Needs to carry Miller Lite on draft.

They can make a darn good burger! Friendly bartender Gemma, and good music! Definitely worth the off road trip!

Nice, quaint bar nestled in the heart of town. We went there to see a friend's band perform on a Friday evening. It's kinda difficult to even know you're at the right place because we couldn't find a sign other than a few beer signs in the windows. The outside of the establishment is pretty low key however the inside definitely is done up better. Big bar with a long counter that seats probably 30 or so people. There's also several tables around the outside so bigger parties can gather. The band set up and played at the far end of the bar and there was plenty of room for them and the few of us that chose to dance. They had a few drink specials that we took advantage of and were very happy with our bacon cheeseburger that we shared. The bartenders were friendly and very attentive doing their best to make sure we always had a drink. We had a great time there and would definitely return if we happened across the area once again.

Happened to be a dart tournament night and was extremely crowded and loud but the food came out fast, was delicious and staff came and checked on our satisfaction halfway through the meal even though they were busy!

Awesome bar burgers!!! Just won voting for best hamburger in the state line definitely come get one! Also you need to stop here on Thursdays for taco Thursday like the kids would say the tacos are definitely off the hook! A very cozy very nice bar to go to if you're taking a road trip and having to come through recommend highly!

My favorite setting to drink in. Not too big not too small. 100% improvement in food choices the last 5 years. Will be coming back more often. The bartending service is phenomenal on weekends and the music playing is always the right volume

New menu!! The chicken tenders are really good. Excellent service, phenomenal burger, Touch tunes, good pour. Have never had a bad meal here. Great local joint. Only a couple televisions which is nice, you can actually have a conversation! Gambling machines tucked in a back room, no annoying noise or lights. Great place.

Was just passing through but stopped because of the positive reviews, and they were right on the money. My meal was amazing, the bar staff was incredible, and John treated me like I was family even though it was my 1st time there! I highly recommend!

Love their bacon cheese burgers. Friendly service, and quick, my boyfriend and I never have to wait too long on our food, and our drinks are served quickly. By far, my favorite place to get a burger

My daughter stopped and picked up a burger for me on her way back from Peoria. I had to warm it up but it was delicious and massive. The cook put a personal message on the bag when my daughter told her she was taking it home for her mom. The message was in fuschia colored sharpie and it said " MADE w/LOVE For Teresa :)

Great out of the way tavern killer burgers cold beer must stop when you are in the area! Now offering gambling machines.

I had never been to MC Tap in
Monroe center and I have to say not only is it a really cute bar, but the food was amazing. We started out with corn bite's and they were so good. They were better than the filling station. We all had the cheeseburger and fries and the best bar burger I have had. Very friendly staff. I would most definly recommend this place

My new Sunday funday place to grab a great bacon 🥓 bloody mary served up with just the right amount of fixinz. Then order up any one of their tasty burgers.

I’ve been coming here for about 12 years and counting, the best bar in the area, the owners are fantastic, the food is always good, great bartenders and great management. I’ve never been disappointed, whenever I get asked where is a good bar burger I say Mc tap is the place to go.
