Now & Zen Gallery was fabulous. A one of a kind Art Emporium in the quaint little town of Mount Carroll, IL. What a gem. A Mecca for original art , vintage everything, cool surroundings. Heather is just wonderful and such a creative powerhouse. If you every get the chance to visit this wonderland of creativity, you won’t leave empty handed. I was just thrilled to find such a cool shop. What an inspiration !

This store belongs to a friendly, happy, and courageous soul. Heather has worked in a very wide variety of mediums over the years, and the store has a little bit of everything. The store has a positive energy and is very busy. I think that you could spend days in here and still miss something. The hours vary. You'll have to catch her or make an appointment. How could you not fall in love with Zengas? One of the true gems of Mount Carroll. I found my most favorite pair of handmade earrings here and can always find a wonderful gift.

Amazing eclectic art from a prolific and talented artist, Heather Houzenga. Coupled with Jay Pauley’s impressive vinyl offerings, Zenga’s is a one-of-a-kind experience. I will be back.

So much in here, it goes back a ways. It's lovely as an octopus garden. I especially love her handbags.
