Big Blues Que

I went here with my bonus momma (Linda) and my daughter and niece. We needed some supper for my daughter's birthday celebration. Big Blues Que did not disappoint. My parents have always raved about this place, and they were correct. The pulled pork sandwich was packed full of meat, and it was delicious. The prices aren't bad at all. We will be returning.

Best BBQ and people in Southern IL! Just go, you will not be disappointed. Open only on Friday and Saturdays. Take out only. They do have picnic areas you can eat and enjoy if you don't want to wait until you get home.

Outstanding best bbq I have had. 1st visit have each of us received sample of all meats available. Smoked Italian beef really does taste like Italian beef with a kick. Pulled pork nachos are giant and delicious. If you don't like heat get the mild bbq sauce. Chicken leg so juicy and delicious. I am stuffed.

There food is great! Make sure to check their Facebook for what specials they have and to double check their hours. Sometimes they close when they sell out. But totally worth the trouble of checking.

Incredibly nice owners and even better BBQ. The ribs are really meaty, have a light pink smoke ring, and are the perfect combination of chewy and fall off the bone. Truly worth the trip off the highway if you are passing through this part of Illinois.

The food is great, but my favorite thing is talking to the lady at the first window that takes your order. She is funny, kind, and such a hoot! The line is sometimes long but it moves quickly. Don't pass this place up...and get the upside down nachos!

Stopped here after hiking at Bell Smith Rec Area. A little off the beaten path, but definitely worth it. First thing they did when they heard we were first time visiting was give us samples (super friendly folks). I settled on the ribs, they were killer, worth the stop. I will definitely be returning. Just beware they only have outside seating as it seemed like most people did take-out.

We ordered a slab of ribs one Saturday to try. We went back the next weekend to pick up pre-ordered ribs to have on the 4th of July. They were fantastic. Just like the week before. Consistently delicious. Dry rub smoked baby back ribs. Yum! They'll be seeing us again.

My wife and I just had the ribs and beans at Big Blues. The food was fantastic. Maybe the best ribs we ever had once you add the Sweet BBQ sauce. The people were very friendly, the drive thru pick up was fast and easy. I would definitely wat here again.

Great BBQ and amazingly nice to work with! We ordered for a party and they had everything ready when we arrived. I appreciated the fact that they didn't "bust up" our BBQ until just before we were to pick it up so it didn't get dried out. The BBQ was great, sauce was great, baked beans were amazing, potato salad was delicious, and the slaw was good. I will be back to try out their BBQ nachos and Loaded Potato! It's a little out there, but well worth the drive!

So had company coming the labor day weekend (I had to work) so hopped over to Big Blue. Ordered 6 full slabs 1 pt each of thunder lighting baked beans and slaw plus 5 pulled pork.sandwiches a loaded potatoes and upside down nachos!!! EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!!

Amazing BBQ served with a smile. We have visited several times and haven't had a bad experience. We will drive from JC just to eat here!

Best BBQ. Love the ribs and baked beans. But all their food is outstanding!
