Recently needed an attorney to handle my case. My father has a long history with the Brackin's for legal work, so naturally, I decided to use them also. Hands down the best experience I've ever had when legal work was required! Byron Brackin and his staff were awesome in making me feel that I really had somebody fighting for me. They are who I will turn to from now on when any legal advice is needed.

This situation will teach me to trust my gut. Had a consult with Stephen Johnson and got a bad feeling. Was going to try an uncontested divorce, but ended up needing an attorney. I went with Johnson and couldn't be more disappointed! Never felt he was looking out for my best interests, was VERY rude and unprofessional on every interaction. Communication was horrible as well. Paralegal just as bad. I received billings with several discrepancies. When I asked for a detailed bill, I received it however received an email 4 business days later at 1:30pm explaining if I haven't paid the bill in full that day, he would have no option but to resign as my council. I didn't receive this until the following morning when they already filed with the court to quit. This was all 5 weeks before my final trial date. If you choose to use him, I'm sure you will regret it as I did. Good news is, I now have an attorney looking out for my best interests that is polite and understanding of a very difficult time.

Did not answer calls or emails. Paralegal did all work. Her letters that went out on behalf of him werefull of errors, yet he signed them. I asked several times what I needed in the letters and he left it out and I did not get a copy until my opponent showed to me. I gave him copies of all documents he asked for, yet he ordered them from other party. I was charged for time, postage, padded length of anything he or his assistant did. What should have taken 1 or 2 weeks to finish, it tools over 3 months and lots of contact from me. But what upset me the most is that I could have done myself, but I wanted to make sure it was done correctly and it was not. Also he charged the exact amount of my down payment. Now how could that work out unless planned.

Cost me 8 grand and didn't do nothing. Would not recommend. Would not return phone calls and was more concerned at starring at my wife then working on my case. After using them I feel like a need another lawyer from being screwed over.
