Mediterranean Sandwich Co. Daphne

Had the Greek salad and she had the Gyro. I added the lamb and beef to mine. They had things down well. Wasn’t super expensive for the area. The food was quite good. The lamb and beef were cooked perfectly together. Not overly dry or over cooked as I’ve seen at other joints. Our server forgot the dressing and tzatziki. When he noticed this he promptly brought it over and apologized. Always such class in the south. Would definitely go back.

Had a wonderful experience at Mediterranean Sandwich company. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the two dishes we got were excellent. We started with the Sampler bowl. It was excellent with humus, grape leaves, plenty of pita, tomato cucumber salad and tzatziki sauce. We also got a deli soup gyro that they were making fresh right in front of you the proper way on a rotisserie, which is why we chose that meat. It came with a side and we got the homemade soup which was also good. Great experience! Close to bass pro shop and the Blakely state park right off I-10.

My first ever visit to The Mediterranean Sandwich Co. the menu was different than most traditional restaurants and it looked like a good change of pace for quick eats. Delicious food and great service. Well worth the visit. I will be back for more.

Eight months late, This is still one of my favorite places to eat when in Daphne. Busy place too.

We got the family pack and there is more than enough to feed a hungry family of six, with meat leftover! The euro meat was moist and tender, plenty of tangy tzatziki sauce, and pita bread. Best thing is since it is all separate it doesn’t become soggy on the way home, plus kids get to make their own!
This is definitely going on the weekly dinner cycle.

I chose this restaurant because my husband tries to watch his diet (way more than I do). Knowing how he loves Mediterranean food, I thought this would be a great place for him. For me, Mediterranean food is not one of my top food choices, so I wasn't super excited about going here. HOWEVER, the second we walked through the door, we were greeted with the most delicious smells. I began changing my mind at that moment. Then, the guy taking our order, William, was super friendly and helpful! I had a Chicken Philly Pita with a side of Bacon Carbonara Orzo Pasta. My husband had a Chicken Shawarma Pita with Spinach-Tomato Orzo Pasta. Both were delicious!! I had never tried Orzo before, so William decribed it as tasting like mac 'n cheese with bacon. That is EXACTLY what mine tasted like! Excellent experience here with pleasant staff and terrific food!

I love this place. I’ve had a few different things on the menu and everything has been delicious. Helpful and friendly staff and nice outdoor seating with umbrellas.

Love this place. Small but mighty, gyros are great and the staff is excellent. The side salad is always fresh and great ingredients, the soup outstanding. Never leave unsatisfied. A favorite! Dine in.

Amazing food and clean, busy restaurant. Beautiful surprise in Daphne, AL. Everything we ordered (party of 3) was fresh and delicious. Although the restaurant was busy, we got our food very fast. The baklava was so fresh and yummy!!! Definitely a gem that we will be visiting again and again!

I recently discovered the best place in town for a tasty and high-quality meal that won't break the bank. I highly recommend trying their Mixed Grill Shawarma. The fresh meat and delicious flavors make it a must-try.

a variety of options for everyone! got their vegetarian falafel pita and it was just sooooo good. ended up getting another one because i couldn’t get enough of it. i think mediterranean food can be a good and easy way to get into healthier eating and this place just makes it very accessible! do ask for their soup of the day because it is always phenomenal. the staff are lovely to interact with.

Awesome food try the dixie chicken. Sweet tea is always good as well. The pasta side dishes are really good no matter which one you choose

I want to eat EVERYTHING here! The pita bread is soft as a cloud. The sides are just as amazing and impressive as the main course. You can’t go wrong here. This place is dinner worthy! Below the veggie gyro with chili( that chili is FIRE!) kids pepperoni pizza with a pizza flavored orzo pasta! So good. Am gonna try something new every time I come.

Very good food! Veggies in the salad were fresh and crispy. Pita bread was warm and delicious as was the hummus. Nicely seasoned! Service was super fast and friendly!! Highly recommend this place for lunch. They have outdoor seating!! One suggestion is that some of the outdoor tables were wobbly but that’s an easy fix!!

We are from LA but always ALWAYS stop here on our way to Florida beaches. We never miss it.

So good! This place is way better than the other Mediterranean/ Greek restaurants in this area. Generous portions and super delicious. Service top of the line- great staff. We will certainly return!

Their menu has plenty of choices for everyone. I had the redneck shwarma and it was delicious. I also had the chicken cous cous soup. It was so good. My wife had the gyro with the spinach-tomato orzo pasta. That pasta was absolutely perfect!!! It was so good in fact that I had to get my own!!!😁 It was our first time eating here but it will definitely not be our last. We both love Greek and Mediterranean food! The Mediterranean Sandwich Company definitely delivered with flavor and affordability.

The redneck gyro just hit the spot. Great idea, well delivered. Outside seating was great to hand out with the doggie.

I feel bad for the places that don’t have a Mediterranean Sandwich Co! The food is phenomenal every single time. If I could eat a Redneck Gyro every day then I absolutely would!
